My dad worked there when I was a kid, that pattern (different scales) was the first knife I ever bought. There's a lengthy article in a recent issue of Knife Magazine

... This is a much better knife, mainly because of the slightly longer, well designed handle and blade and sturdier construction....

I like that. I also have to have a useful sized handle regardless of blade length.

I carry this Kershaw a lot- in fact, today.

The kydex sheath is not as traditional nor aesthetically pleasing as leather, but it is extremely secure. When you snap the knife in, it’s not going anywhere, and I know it cannot stab me in the leg. It’s designed for pocket carry only.
