Thank you very much for the very kind words of my 35 my friend . You could waste a lot of time looking for one like it . It really is 1 of 12 Parts Knives made that were sold at the 2018 Rendezvous at Titusville . I do Know A Guy who has 2 of them though . I can tell you though that the 35 is a serious knife . I do not think you can go wrong on buying one to use .I hope you have good luck in finding a 35 that you like . Your Stag 44 is a nice looking piece too my friend . They are a nice pattern to have too . I like Gunstocks in general .Wow Cigarrodog, I'm falling hard for that one.
Chatoyant...
And another knife casting its spell!
An emerald beauty you have there Mr. Harry. A gorgeous 35. That's a pattern I have on my list and you've kicked it up the ladder with those pics.
Today it's the 44 in stag.

All ears kind sir!
Today I’ve got my recently acquired Winchester 2857 from 1987. It’s in handled, probably as a display model but unused condition. Pulls are 5 on the main and a stout 7 on the pen. Nice and snappy with solid half stops. Blades came so dull it seems like they were dulled on purpose. They sharpened up just fine. I’m not sure what the pattern is? I’ve seen the same knife listed as a teardrop, swayback, torpedo jack and dogleg? From what I could find out, these were made by Queen for Winchester. This guy is certainly 100 times better than any more recent Queens. Almost as good as a GEC, not quite but pretty good. Absolutely love the jigging on it. You’ll have to google an image because no matter what I’ve tried, posting a pic on this forum just isn’t happening for me.
I’ve been wanting to ask what kind of camera and editing you are using. Your photos really bring out out the colors of that Camillus bone.As always, the Camillus. Tagging along on Tidioute Thursday is my micarta Soda Scout, another one of my Top 5 all-time favorite GEC’s.
