Good looking green bone 47, and it looks like you use it quite a bit:thumbup:! I guess I'm staying with my carbon knives mainly so I can more easily keep an eye on them in this TX heat....

I collected firewood today..this little bush weta followed me home.............FES

Reminds me of an old Texan-meets-Australian joke. But we won't go there.

Great horny toadies! They grow them bugs BIG in the NZ!
Only found in NZ. Older than the dinosaurs, according to the reference I found.
A new factoid. Very cool.

Oh, and the knife is good looking, too.

Glad to see so many friends using the 2011 EO Jack -

I had my 30's Robeson out this weekend as my "dress traditional" for one of my best friends funeral - It was comforting to have this one with me.

That Robeson looks very nice, Andy. I'm sorry for your loss. I make sure to use my forum knife from time to time. It's just too nice to leave it just sit in the drawer.

Still totin' my 301 for now.

Awesome shots guys...and to the mods sorry about the off topic, but in New Zealand we have some beauts, I love the Weta's, and I love to handle them..they are absolutely beautiful....and in Pukekohe where I lived for most of my life...we have a rare winged Weta...fantastic.
Fes...I hope you let that beauty go again!
Good to see the Saddlehorn mate. I had the pleasure of carrying around it's twin last week! ( the knife...not the Weta )

That's a beautiful looking Laguiole you have there ddml!

To stay on topic, I am carrying an Old Timer 340 that was begging to replace my Tidioute Conductor.

I pulled the Case pen out last night to slice open a peach for a tasty snack. I could not bear to return it to the isolation of the knife box for the rest of stockman month, so these two today:

Ha, thanks! Took her out to the lake for a long weekend and she performed admirably. I am planning on a 12cm with rams horn and carbon blade. Or maybe a chambriard compagnon or a nontron. Or a primitive bone Ben Hogan. Or...

Nothing as spectacular as your beauties, guys.

Today I went with at Case Yellow Stockman and a Case Peanut

Kind regards
Andi

BTW: That Weta is looking like a huge grashopper. What a beautiful animal... though ... I can´t imagine my wife´s reaction finding a four inch insect in the sleeping room
