What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We’re supposed to have more rain and possibly severe storms later this evening and into the night. I’m putting these two in my pocket this morning. I figured the Yeller Delrin may be the only sunshine I’ll have today! :D

@TheFactor Thanks ! Even though this was my first Case xx it definitely won’t be my last
This canoe pattern feels sooo good in hand .The canoe pattern is excellent. As I explore different patterns it keeps rising into the top two or three. I have a Caribbean Blue specimen that I really like. I've been kicking around the idea of getting on e and cutting the pen blade into a sheep's foot or coping style and then establishing a new nail nick. Not sure yet...

Riding with the Camillus today is one of the older knives in my collection, that I actually purchased new from a store. I remember buying it at this little hardware store in the Adirondacks. I'm not great with Case knife dating, but it looks to be maybe a 1994 or 1995 model. The stamp has 3 dots. I have no memory of what specific style the covers are. All I know is that it's a 6318 in CV.

It wasn't too great a knife when I first bought it. One blade was pretty lazy, and one had a bit of wobble. It sat in a box for many years, until I sent it in to Case maybe five years ago. They did a great job of repairing it, and sent it back to me in record time. I was so impressed with it that I ended up giving it to my father-in-law in the last couple years of his life. The pulls were easy enough for him to open with his aging hands, which had become an issue. When he passed away, the knife came back to me.

It's really a very nice knife. I notice the center liner seems to be much thinner on this model, in comparison to my newer punch stockman that is based on the frame frame. The knife has great lines that are only enhanced by the nicely jigged bone covers.

I don't know how you manage to come up something amazing every day. I just keep posting the same Camillus over and over. :p

Thanks Buzz ! I certainly have a few favorites that I would be happy to carry everyday but I enjoy rotating through the knives I have been lucky enough to acquire ;)
