I would usually tote and post these on Twosday, but I'm instigating a Two Trapper Thursday today, as I'm totin' this pair, mainly so that, when it turns to Thirsty Thursday around 5:00 p.m., I'll have something for my buddies to coon-eye and chicken-finger when we gather at our regular watering hole. It'll get the discussion started in the right direction. (A tip: a splash of vodka on a cocktail napkin works well to get sweaty fingerprints off knife blades, even everyday working blades like these.)

Congrats on the milestone, Jack, and for that fine wood-clad pair.
So several weeks ago, I sat down for breakfast with our friends Jeff @black mamba, Rick @Railsplitter and Scott @pearl2291. We enjoyed some good company and fellowship, and passed a few knives around the table before attending a local knife show.
John Lloyd told me he had made a series of knives almost 10 years ago in an assortment of different metal covers and engraved by Tommy Baldwin of Tampa/St. Pete, Florida. This is brass with a blade of CPM 154 steel. That's a very interesting knife Alan

@Duckdog You figured it all out Stuart! Not really though, I live in Los Angeles, probably one of the worst cities to find old pocket knives. I just get lucky here and there online. I’d love to bring a lot of money to a good knife show someday. The ones out here that I’ve been to aren’t great. Never had luck at pawn and antique shops either. A classic pair you have today Stuart! I love them slimline’s. It’s one of the patterns that got me into traditionals.

Fodderwing Great oldies you guys!
Edit : @Duckdog I’ve been geeking out and reading up as much as I can on the 72’s. Such a great pattern with so many variations out there which makes it a great one to collect. I wonder what took me so long to fall in love with it.
Will Power Nice swell center Winchester Will!
