What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice to meet up with other folks from the forum. I am greatly looking forward to meeting Harry, aka @Old Engineer along with a couple of other famous Porchsters for breakfast and then raiding the Badger Knife Show. I’ll have to keep an eye on Harry as he tries to ferret out old Cattaragus gems!
Yep! We’ll definitely have our hands full with Harry! ;) :D

Jaw dropping beautiful Harvey! :D

Several folk use today as an Old Friends Friday, but I'm going to recognize it as Old Fellows Friday for the two that I am totin'. Right after Half/Stop Half/Stop visited with me in early February, I found a wooden silverware case among the boxes, cases, and chests that my late stepfather left to me. Inside were a fair number of Böker and Böker-made John Primble folders, and some odds and ends. I have posted several of the Bökers and Primbles, and these are two of the odds and ends. A Queen City small congress (think Queen 15, but smaller) from 1922-1932 and a Schatt & Morgan swell center pen from 1902-1928.

I love the BB bone, but I gotta have a few Delrin clad working knives around.

Fabulous pairs, Jack and Ron.

Delrin is great on a working knife. Thanks for the compliment Stuart! :)

VERY nice Harvey

Well, you had a couple of real workers with you.

Still very nice, Alan. What are the covers?

Thanks for the kind words Stuart :) Time was when I had a good few pals to go out boozing with on St Patrick's Day, but now they're all married with kids :( Not that I'm much of a boozer myself these days ;)

I think you just demonstrated why a half stop can be a beautiful thing.
And speaking of beautiful things...
Yep! We’ll definitely have our hands full with Harry! ;) :D

Thank you Jack.

Is that a #82? I really love the look of those. How does it compare in size to the medium stockman?

It's a hunk of knife, comparable to a Case 047 stockman but with better blade selection. Some like the Possum Skinner variant (Hawbaker muskrat) better as it's a bit slimmer but, perhaps ironically, it's the stockman's drop point skinner blade that makes it even more useful IMO.
