What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yeah, guessing you have folders with features that cross the line here.
I share your interest in this style. They're really neat.
I have a book on them that says the pattern goes back to the year 1100, originating in Indonesia. They were agricultural tools, like pruners (I'm sure you're aware). Sounds traditional to me :)

Anyway, here's one I think I can post here. Not totin' it, but hope to give it some custom handle scales soon.

Below is what I'm totin' today
Happy Friday all

Karambit have been around forever. I do have some without the clips. Thank you.

@Prester John I’m thinking.

@lucky22 Thank you and much appreciation.

Several folk use today as an Old Friends Friday, but I'm going to recognize it as Old Fellows Friday for the two that I am totin'. Right after @Half/Stop visited with me in early February, I found a wooden silverware case among the boxes, cases, and chests that my late stepfather left to me. Inside were a fair number of Böker and Böker-made John Primble folders, and some odds and ends. I have posted several of the Bökers and Primbles, and these are two of the odds and ends. A Queen City small congress (think Queen 15, but smaller) from 1922-1932 and a Schatt & Morgan swell center pen from 1902-1928.

They snap shut and are very sharp. Don't ask how I know.

Did you make it past Fargo? They JUST opened I-94 20 minutes ago:thumbsup:

We tried 46 and went North on 18 to Casselton, they opened up the road there at 1:00. After driving past some 10 foot drifts I don’t think this Chevy would have made ito_O

Love the bone on that one...wow !!! Always have mine in front of me.

Another want....lol !!!

Thanks, Gev. :) I feel the same way about that beauty of yours!

I've got a cool "new one" today. Along with the ever-present Camillus, I'm carrying a 1999 Case Mini-Copperlock in saw cut bone. The rough cut nature of the covers is really, really cool, and the bone is dyed with a ton of color variation to it.

That is unbelievable bone for a Case, Buzz!:thumbsup:

Wow, Harvey! That is a knife to be proud of! Superb bone.

Those are a couple of beauties ! Hope you didn't get bitten to badly ;)

Spectacular!

Thanks, Harvey.

Can you imagine how sweet that Case would be if it had that Black Box Bone? A great pair that I know you’re very fond of Stuart! Enjoy your Happy Hour! :D

I love the BB bone, but I gotta have a few Delrin clad working knives around.

I´m carrying these two today...;)

Those two are lovely, José.

Camillus 4 line

That's a real beauty, Dwight.

I have recently begun to appreciate slimline trappers; those are both beauties, Stuart! Which one is your favorite? :)

Thanks, Dean. Only because of its one blade slimness, the Case gets the nod. The Queen made BB Winchester 2904s and 2904 1/2s are hard to beat.

After 7.30pm here, and I still haven't posted my carry! Hope everyone is having a good week, Friday tomorrow ;)

I see by your bottom knife that St. Patrick's is on your mind, Jack.

A classic pair you have today Stuart! I love them slimline’s. It’s one of the patterns that got me into traditionals.

Thanks, Nick.

Morning folks, haven't carried either of these in a while, so I thought I'd carry them for Old Friends Friday, my 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot an old IXL Sheepsfoot :)

I’ve got one from Sheffield and one from Titusville today! :)

Fabulous pairs, Jack and Ron.

Just my favourite little Childress

Superb!

A walk among drippy trees on a muddy path is much better than a day at work.

Well, you had a couple of real workers with you.

Took the day off work because....why not. Carrying this one today, its a bit old and tired but still got a lot of life left.

Yep, that's it.

Still very nice, Alan. What are the covers?
