What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Is that an ebony schrade cut cattle knife?
yes Sir ! The ebony is worn thin and has exposed the brass liners giving it a divine look and feel

My trying to keep up with this thread is like a hen duck on the water - calm and serene on top and paddling like hell below.

Gotya huh!? Two beautiful knives Stuart! :D

D Duckdog Amazing pen knives Stuart! That S&M swell center:eek:

I think you just demonstrated why a half stop can be a beautiful thing.
And speaking of beautiful things...

They are incredible... but the S&M!!!!!

Delrin is great on a working knife. Thanks for the compliment Stuart! :)

Thanks, guys.

Hi Stuart D Duckdog . It's Nguni Horn.

Thanks, Alan. I should have picked that up earlier. It's a beauty.

Carrying this amazing pair today. They were meant to be together.

Yes, they are.

Thanks for the kind words Stuart :) Time was when I had a good few pals to go out boozing with on St Patrick's Day, but now they're all married with kids :( Not that I'm much of a boozer myself these days ;)

Drop over here, Jack, and I'll host you to a gentle night out. I dropped into a couple of our locals early on to avoid the amateurs. Wouldn't risk showing my daily carries to that riffraff.

Took the 54 out for a walk about today.

That's a beauty!

Morning folks :) Carrying these two today

Great choices, Jack. Unity!

Today I’m carrying a large Père David Stag Lambsfoot and a Northfield 73 in Natural Stag. :)

And why not, eh?

After going through the revived Old Timer thread (again), I decided that for me, today would be Schraderday.
Such great pocket knives.

Workers Day!!

Found this old gal behind the back seat of a flood car from hurricane Katrina, she was in bad shape but some TLC gave her a second life, and the CV blade on this particular knife holds a wicked edge. One I’ll probably never part with.

God will bless you for that gesture of salvation. We can only thank you.

Beautiful vintage there Stuart:thumbsup:

A beautiful vintage XX there Stuart! :)

D Duckdog A very very nice one Stuart!!

Thanks, guys.

A couple in stag today.

Staggeringly stunning.

Winter finally feels like it’s over today.

...Sun is shining, the weather is sweet, make you wanna move your dancing feet...

Great old Sears stockman, Nick.

Grilling some wild pig sausage and backstrap after working in the yard with this more than capable 82.

you had me at "wild", but that IS A NICE KNIFE.

These as I went to check out a new antique mall. Pics of my finds upcoming in the newest knife thread;)

Fine finds, David. You and kai76 kai76 , along with SteveC SteveC seem to be the Indiana Jones of traditional knives. Unearthing treasures from the earth, er, I meant, ether.

I’m carrying these two today. An Emerald Green 35 Churchill seemed fitting today, if you know what I mean! :D Also my wee Sambar Ashley’s Choice Lambsfoot! Have a great day! :D

Handsome is as handsome does, Ron. Those are handsome knives.

That's a beaut, Nick.

Carrying my 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot and this Jowika Stockman, made in Listowel, Ireland

Love that stockman, Jack. I'm green with envy.

Utica Jack today

That is a spectacular specimen, Steve. Congrats on that find!!

Old Robeson ShurEdge barlow...

Casually classic.

These of course;)

Well played, David.

Finally back from a whirlwind of a road trip, 4500 miles total. It was too difficult to try and keep up with this thread so I bagged it until I got home today. Got to see my 101 year old Grandad for a little bit the other day and spent a couple of days with Dad. Figured I’d give this green bone Parker Frost some pocket time on St Patrick’s day...

Glad that you are safely returned and that you had super family time. Those times seem more fleeting as we go along. Love that Parker Frost!

Just peachy, Dave.

This combination is starting to become a thing. Whenever I run out of the house, off to adventure, this is what I instinctively grab. The Camillus Army Engineer knife and the GEC micarta #43 Oregon Trapper. All bases are covered.

Yep!

So lovely, r8shell. A whiter shade of pale.

An elegant rope knife. Is that an oxymoron? Well, it's one of the best that I've seen. That shackle!!

Thanks, Jack. It was very relaxing, visited with my Mom for a couple of hours.

That's good to hear John, I'm sure your Mom enjoyed the visit :)
