What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Stitch,

Great photo. The lure is coming along nicely. I'd love to see the finished product when you get done. Basswood?

Thank you, it's the first real lure I've tried to make, I've carved hooks camping before and when I was a kid I would take my mothers thread and combine a few colors together in a oval tie it to a hook, then cut the ends, kind of a fake rooster tail/ fly. The wood is just some left over pine, I need to get some craft paint I'm thinking blue, green, yellow, and black & brown, going for a bluegill, sunny type of fish.
Gave it a little detail today.

Happy birthday Andi, I'm gonna pick up Schneider weisse or a Aventinus today if I can find, if not I can usually find a Spaten or Franziskaner and give you a birthday toast.

...so one or the other of these two has been in my pocket daily of late...

...I like to think of carrying Erickson & Halfrich as "win-win"...

Thank you for the nice and kind wishes, my friends!

I´m sure, I´ll have a nice day, today. I was in my backyard - drinking coffee and smoking a goop pipe. Now I´ll go out with my wife and my dad for dinner. The Moose will follow me, for sure.

Kind regards
Andi

Happy birthday, Andi! Hope you enjoy your dinner.

Burnt stag 23 and a case 6392 for right now. . . but I think there's room for an 85 in another pocket as well!

Gary the burl in that Foster is awesome; it looks like an impressionists painting. I've been sitting here thinking of how to describe it but that's the best I've got lol. Really like it though

Thanks guys! It's California Buckeye Burl, and it is amazing. I never get tired of looking at it.

My modified ram horn saddlehorn . . . gotta see how I did!

And Gary, the Foster is awesome; he's one of the best!

Right now I'm carrying one of my Davison's, but I'll be switching it up at lunch to carry the Otter Messer I won in Andi's giveaway to celebrate his birthday. Happy Birthday Andi!
