Peregrin Peregrin Look at that beauty! Wonderful details.

Actually it’s a treat and good fortune to see and hear about everyone’s knives in this thread.

Styling indeed ! How could one help but have a Grand day !! Marvelous

That's beautiful!

Thanks, guys! Mr. Morrow does some fine work.

I’m always seeing covers like your Barlow that are beautiful, but damaged. Seeing yours tells me, if you like it so much, why don’t you buy it? Thank you for showing this beauty.
My pleasure, Harvey. I have a number of them and love them. I prefer good snap, walk and talk, then with character.... gold in my eye. I do look for full blades with no or minor chips that can be sharpened out. It has to cut well...and look good ;)
some call me ...The Relic Chaser others...The Wabi-Sabi Man :D but you can call me..Gev

Grandpa and the beaver... This was my granddads (or great grandads) Cattaraugus. It’s certainly old, I believe it’s a sleeveboard with carbon steel boosters and no shield. I don’t know much about it/them, but I know it will go from me to one of my boys and hopefully stay in the fam.

Like your old Cattaraugus very much . Does it have a Model Number on the Tang of either the blades ?

I haven’t seen a lot of the 76 pattern on here before. That’s a good looking knife that would fit right into my tastes for sure:thumbsup:
Thanks for the compliment! The 76 is one that is not shown very often. It was produced in considerably smaller quantities than today’s patterns from GEC.

I'm posting old pictures of an old friend that I am totin' today. I intended to show him a day in the sun, but we are now having sleet/hail and 30-40 mph winds, so he'll ride in the innermost pocket of my duck hunting coat when we walk Loki. I hope others are faring better (we do have a reprieve arriving in a couple of hours, but Loki can't wait).
