What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Looks like she cleaned up pretty good David.

Harry
Yeah I took your advice and decided the rust line wasn't that bad. Just a scrub flush and oil. Still a bit of stuff coming out of the joint as can be seen in my pics. In the pic above the yellowish streak is pine resin. I was beveling the ends of some lumber. Had 4 1"x4"x10' that was almost solid fatwood:eek:.0322191435.jpgHere's one cut into two 5 foot sections, all the dark red parts is fatwood.

Old friends today: My first Case Barlow and my first knife with Rogers bone. Also toted a Schrade 47OT - my first modern/OHO folder - but that is verboten here...

(Will be looking at knives, mostly.)

Hey ~ Case is cranking out some great knives lately,IMO.

You'll be looking at knives, and buying beef jerky, and passing by tables full of beater guns priced higher than new ones, if it's anything like the last gun show I went to. But it's always entertaining!:D

Yeah, Jeff, you know the routine! Sometimes I find some good stuff. Found a 1952 souvenir knife of Queen Elizabeth's coronation (the coronation was in 1953, but this was an early souvenir, I guess) from Richards of Sheffield, and another time a 1982 Schrade Scrimshaw stockman new in box. Taking my 15-year-old daughter. She loves knives. Then going to get some good Texas BBQ. Going to be a good day!

Update for the CAR ON THE ICE for today . Best phone pic that my wife could get a little while ago today because of the traffic . Car is partly in the water but not all the way yet on 3-22-2019 .
