Swapped Big Rose out for my AC in the evening
It’s a long season! I’d be amazed if the Sox repeat, but then again, I was amazed last year. I’m a true pessimistic New Englander, who grew up with the curse.
1986 must have been tough for you. Well, it'll be a great season whatever happens. I love the game, and am glad the season finally started.
Actually, I’ve never handled the GEC but the Case is right in the middle in terms of operating effort - definitely not a nail breaker but not likely to collapse on your fingers. Very comfortable knife for everyday carry.
That looks more like Cleveland Indians red! Nice knife ... simple and classy looking.
Old Empire barlow...
Was carrying this one today :

Yes, and that debacle wasn’t that long after 1967, 1975 and 1978! It’s just great to have baseball back!
Another red knife, a few weeks ago.
As usual one more day to walk in my pocket...
I've come up with a brilliant new diet. Eat everything with a Pemberton and an oyster fork. The portions look huge!
Roundhead. This knife is becoming one of my favorites. Hard to keep it out of pocket. Light, desired size, good looking. I love the steel. A very capable knife.
Great Barlow and photo. Looks idyllic.
Here’s my nature shot from this morning. Had to be at least 15, but they refused to hold still for a group shot.
I gotta try one of these. Looks awesome.
Thank you Jack. I always enjoy the beautiful setting that your knives pose in front of.
Many thanks to all y'all for the best wishes. I'm turning the corner at the intersection of Bleak Street and Sunny Side Road. Feeling much better every hour.
Thanks, Dwight. I could do worse than rest under the comforting shadow of Will's wit.
