That is gorgeous! One of your own creations?
What kind of wood is that?
It is thank you. The wood is ironwood burl from Arizona Ironwood finished at about 2000 grit with Johnson's paste wax rubbed in. I don't like useing brass pins but the customer requested them, glad they did. It looks straight out of the 1840s.
Buzzbait, your killing me, your pics of that Oregon Trapper have me looking over my knives to try and see what I can sell to get one. Wish something with easy to remove scales like the Proper had that shape.

Jack, I’m sure the lovely LF will clean right up after you get stiches, but hey my friend! Talk to your doctor about getting on a blood thinner!:D

I'm kinda picky about damascus, but that sure looks good with the stag on a candlestick frame!:thumbsup:

It's Friday, and there's never enough thyme. ;)

Gary, you stink! I’m so envious, that’s a gorgeous Robeson enjoy it. At least it’s in the hands of someone who’ll care for it properly and enjoy the heck out of it. :)

It does, doesn’t it? That is a great lookin’ setup. I think I prefer this to the swell end jacks.

Thanks it ticks off all the right stuff for me so far!
Both spey and coping blades are very thin, scalpel like.
