What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I believe they had it in their catalog at one time. I've had it for awhile. At 5 3/8" its easy to carry. I find it a very handy little knife and with the leather fob I can get a 4 finger grip on it.
Yes, I remember seeing it there . I just looked online and AG still carry it in some handle options. Your's in "blue maple" is unavailable but going to be reissued, it says.
It's a unique piece; it's been great seeing it here in your posts. It makes me want one :)
Appears the AG site refers to it as a neck knife. Have you ever carried it that way?

Struggling to keep up today as Pearl has had me out and about in Leeds all day

To die for Stuart. Does the IXL have an insert on the pile side also?

Thanks, Dwight! Gorgeous detailed photo of your Ancient barlow and your five (!) blade Sowbelly.
Thank you sir. :)

I'm not a neck knife guy but I found a way to carry it that works well for me. I drop the knife/sheath in my pocket with a short lanyard, on the sheath, that loops around my belt. It hangs in the pocket like it would around the neck. The knife is very secure in the sheath. It's easy to access and I hardly known it's in my pocket.

Sounds neat and discrete.
Seems like this little fixed would be a great candidate for a custom leather sheath, too.

My band is performing up in Kenosha this evening, so the Leatherman and little Maglite will be on my belt for sure.
Last night, I used the L.Tool to reattach the leads on a sketchy cable for a PA main. I’ll probably bring along the big fat Swiss Champ, too, just in case.
Here’s the funny thing: I/we, in all liklihood, will not need any fixit tools. The PA is almost new, each of the other folks don’t have much to go wrong with their instruments, I have brand new strings on my Telecaster, strong tubes in my amp, and reliable cables. Nothing much can go wrong. BUT ~ I’d feel naked without my knives and tools. None of the other people will have so much as a SAK in their pockets. It’s incomprehensible to me. Some people.
