What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Harry you forgot to give us your area code. Sorry buddy I couldn't resist. :D:D:rolleyes:

Today I have my Bonsa Jackknife in my pocket today These are great knives made in Solingen Germany on par with the better Boker knives. This one was a gift from my good friend Jerome ( @Lostball ). This is the only Bonsa brand I've ever seen.

My band is performing up in Kenosha this evening, so the Leatherman and little Maglite will be on my belt for sure.
Last night, I used the L.Tool to reattach the leads on a sketchy cable for a PA main. I’ll probably bring along the big fat Swiss Champ, too, just in case.
Here’s the funny thing: I/we, in all liklihood, will not need any fixit tools. The PA is almost new, each of the other folks don’t have much to go wrong with their instruments, I have brand new strings on my Telecaster, strong tubes in my amp, and reliable cables. Nothing much can go wrong. BUT ~ I’d feel naked without my knives and tools. None of the other people will have so much as a SAK in their pockets. It’s incomprehensible to me. Some people.

Jeff you must have been typing this post while I was taking pictures for mine or I would have including you above. I had a Champ in my gig bag for years along with leatherman Wave. I'm the fat boy in the middle.

Edited to add: This was yesterday’s post that I forgot to hit reply, so I’m already here in Idaho.

P.S. The cans had tabs:D

Heading over to Kellogg Idaho to drop a buddy and his friend off to buy a couple of brand new, shiny Chevy trucks. Then I’ll spend the night with another buddy. Tomorrow back into Washington to where my oldest is in college to relax with both my girls for a day before my youngest and I drive back to the swamp of Western Washington. I’m taking my 34OT, cause it’s “Old Friends Friday”. I always have a permanent Victorinox in each vehicle for emergencies....like non-twist off capso_O

The clip blade on this is far thicker than the two smaller blades, which stands to reason when you need something a bit more beefy BUT can still cut stuff up, push cut down through this stack of dense leather easily, well, it is sharp now ;)

Thanks for the chorus and the compliment, Jeff.

To die for Stuart. Does the IXL have an insert on the pile side also?

Yes, it does, Dwight. See my post of my totin' two today.

Then carried this one this evening to go to a Fish Boil going held at a local church .

Harry, you sure were able to catch the fire in the MOP. Fine old TEW.

It's for ogling not using.

I'd opt for doing both, but ogle i will.

Edit: here’s what’s in my other pockets-

All those are great tools to have, Jeff, but I like the peanut and the duck call (:D) in your other pocket. So, the kids are kickin' in Kenosha tonight!

Beautiful and beautifully done, Dwight.

PAL Medium Jack

Very nice old PAL in fine condition, Steve. I haven't seen a lot of those.

Ok, so it needs a little work:)...Just received.
