I'm returned from doing road repair down at the farm where I hunt and am still carrying the same yellow handled Case mini trapper with cap lifter as yesterday. However, we are having some friends over for cocktails this evening before walking down the street to a local bistro for dinner and one of the guests is a surgeon, so I'm switching to this pair for conversation starters during drinks.

As I hoped, the Case doctors were a hit at the cocktail hour and on into dinner.

Paid a visit to my Uncle Roger today. His neighbours are Jeanne Moreau, Berlioz, Alexandre Dumas (and Camille the lady with Camelias), Ampère, Nijinski, Adolphe Sax, etc... including the family Sanson, Paris executioner since Louis the XIVth. o_O

How do you like the rough black ("gum fuddy") covers? I'm going shopping tomorrow and I'm thinking of looking for one of these because of the Wharncliffe blade.

I guess I'm replying a little late to help with your shopping. Anyway, the rough black looks good and feels good, but mainly because the jigging. The Wharncliffe blade is fantastic!

Thank you, my friend! It would be great to meet you, and yes, lots of money is helpful when attending such a show. :D
Yes it would be nice to meet you and some porch folks too. I’ve never been to Oregon and my wife and I always wanted to visit but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea for my wife to know how much money I might spend.
