What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Not backlock, but lock anyway. Works very well.

Thanks Stuart, I appreciate the nice words. I like the MALCO you’re toting, looks like it’ll handle anything thrown at it.

Yes it sure is pocket jewelry that will cut too!

Nice Robeson! Is it an equal end or a sleeveboard?
Thanks Kai76. Its a sleeveboard.

From clearing downed trees yesterday to clearing creeping vines in our backyard today, Spring provides plenty of cutting opportunities. I'm using a MALCO duct knife (sharp as a razor, a buddy found it in the attic of a old office building in Washington, D.C.) and a J. Russell & Co. (Green River Works, 1881-1941) hawkbill.

I'm also totin, but not slicing vines with, the Sodbuster Jr. from yesterday. Born in 1978, it is one of my younger Cases. What's more Spring-like than flowers and "fresh" sod?

That Malco duct knife looks a lot like an Old Hickory sticker.

Did the first bit of work at a lady’s house yesterday cleaning up the dead stuff and young weeds in her front beds and in the little perennial garden I built for her last fall. Was pleased to see that all of the plants I moved over from my place made it through the winter and are coming up~ iris, yarrow, lambs ear, sedum, etc.
Mutually beneficial- she can’t keep up with it, and I need the exercise and a few extra bucks.:D
I’ll stick with the 72 today, and add the Bullnose in nifebrite.
