What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today I am carrying my new mini trapper Wharncliffe in CV

That's what I'm carrying today as well...

Packin' the old Case Copperhead trapper today. Some of the best stag bone I've ever seen, and CV to boot!

That's super nice Jeff.

I got these 2 on me again.

I like the patina my little yella is developing. It just cut some apples and pears as a snack for me and my "guard dog". She loves pears.

TLARbb, you and your cat have good taste in knives. :)

My oldest son heads out to his second 6-week boot camp this Sunday (USMC, OCS track), so my people and I enjoyed a rare dinner out as a See-ya for him and a belated high school graduation celebration for the older of my two daughters. It's increasingly rare to be able to gather all my kids (ages 14-22) at once, so it was great to be out together.

I had my little TotM Barlow along, and gave it its first taste of steak.

Thanks guys, was a quick shot with my cell phone after eating dinner...really love that pocket watch, and would feel wrong if I didn't carry a nice knife with it.

My USAF EDC items two hitches from 1971-1978: my P38, my earplugs for working around the flightline, and my Case Slimline Trapper (4 dot). It was given to me by my father-in-law a former Seabee, one of those knife collector-traders that sat whittling under the "whittling tree" on the town square in front of the courthouse in Piggott, Arkansas. I remember the shavings of cedar scattered under that tree as it was yesterday. I wonder if they still do it today? This September my wife and I will be going to make a visit to our spot of land there and I'll check out the old "whittling tree".

Hey, nice taste! I really love the size of this new knife. It really disappears in my pocket. I was concerned because it did not show up very sharp, but just a few minutes running through the rods on my sharp maker had it handily slicing paper and apples.

Got this one with me today... Tony Bose Swayback Jack, Case Antique
jigged bone. Can't even tell it's in my pocket.. Happy 4th guys!

This Schatt and Morgan Heritage Woodsman called out to me this morning. It was complaining of lack of pocket time. Taking care of that today.
