What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Classy pen knife! :thumbsup::cool::cool: Who made it? Where did you find it?
Found it on eBay, a mistake on the sellers part led me to believe I was getting more than one but I like the knife and payed a reasonable price so I decided not to request a refund.

It's a Sabre USA , My guess is Schrade as it looks just like their 708 but Camillus may be a good suspect as well.

I got this one out for the evening.

Love the covers on that one :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Case Trapper in BoneStag

A great knife :thumbsup:. I just picked one of those up. The dye job isn't as dark as I'd hoped for. Maybe I'll try darkening it.

Yes, that is the problem with those Case knifes. The color and texture of the handles varies a lot! Shops usually use stock pictures of a particularly nice specimen (obviously) and you never know what you get. I ended up stalking ebay for several weeks because some of the sellers show pictures of the actual knife. There was one who seems to specialize on particularly nice handles, probably hand-picked. I ended up paying a few dollars over the standard Amazon price but that was totally worth it!

One nice thing about Case is that there are so many dealers. Hardware stores, farm and ranch stores, gun stores, etc. Some have large displays. I usually get to examine before I buy. Of course, some places only carry a few, but you can locate the gold and platinum dealers online. I have ordered a couple of Case knives online and they were fine.

I'm a sucker for a red/black pairing, James! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: Congrats on the new crimson Pioneer!

Thanks GT, red & black do look right together. The Pioneer is Vic's annual color for 2018, quite unique and growing on me more each day. Hope you are having good Sunday.

That is the King of the Lamb Barlows. :cool: :thumbsup:

Thank you John! :D :thumbsup:

Two favorites...

That's a great pairing my friend, a feller could go through his whole life, and not need another knife :) :thumbsup:

I'm looking for inspiration in picking my totin' choice today, and those are inspiring me to pick one of these:

I couldn't make my mind up with that trio of Queen 22s (1972), so I've pocketed this pair of Queen 27s (1958-1960) to tote today. Yes, they are almost redundant, but I've got to get out of the knife cave and moving this morning.

I think it'll be getting carried for a while GT :) I love seeing those knives together :) :thumbsup:

Advantageous pair, Steve! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: If you're asking for our preference, I'll vote for the aged bone! :D

No offense intended, Harvey, but that pair of "cartoon" tools makes me laugh! :thumbsup::D:D

Jeff, you make a good point, but so does Jeff! :confused::rolleyes::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I always enjoy seeing some of your beautiful local knives, José! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Classy pen knife! :thumbsup::cool::cool: Who made it? Where did you find it?

;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Desirable duo, JJ! :cool::thumbsup::cool: How do you like that Calf Pen Jack?

If you send me a list of knives and a set of carry criteria, maybe I can work up a rotation schedule for you! :D:cool:

Such elegant photos of your exquisite knives, Dwight and Ron! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Would that I could learn how to take a pic with no reflections! :eek::rolleyes:

:p:p:thumbsup:

That Watts champagne knife is definitely irresistible, Harvey! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: (Nice back scratcher, too. :cool::thumbsup:)

Four knives and nearly-countless blades in your cargo! :cool::cool::thumbsup: How are you liking that single-bladed 78? (1-blade knives are rarely my first choice.)

I find explaining almost anything that's at least semi-technical very difficult over the phone. So I'm really impressed by your success with your mom's remote, even given the huge assistance of each of you having the same model in hand! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
Hope your Hartshead Barlow lands soon. :)

Always enjoy your word play, Stuart. :)

Understandably so, John! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
How did the drum corps do yesterday?

Inspirational trio of Queens, Stuart! :cool::thumbsup::cool: IIRC, don't you have a box brimming with Queen Barlows?
