Beautiful mountain stream image John.
Gorgeous Steve. I greatly enjoy your use of wood in your photos.Totin' these two today

Maybe not quite that bad Dean!Thank you, Dwight! That's a neat jack you have; I like natural bone. When you say 'vicious snap,' do you mean break your finger while cutting part of it off vicious? I have a Case sheepfoot that scares the snot out of me when I close it.
Lovely meditation and ethereal cutlery image. What ever the station of life that you've become
Whatever the weave that you've spun
In the name of the father
The name of the son
With the crack of the timber
And the sound of the end of the world fills your ears
May the angels protect you
When the last ship sails

Thank you, Dwight.Beautiful mountain stream image John.
Always interesting array of cool stuff. I can't imagine what that gold colored thing is on the left but I like it.
Have a great fishing trip Stuart. Here's to tight lines and good fellowship. Cheers!I'm heading out tomorrow morning @ o'dark hundred hours to fish with my son and our neighbor at the mouth of the Potomac River in the Chesapeake Bay. We'll be casting for cobia, jigging for bluefish, and trolling for Spanish mackerel, in that order, for two days. See y'all on the flip side. I'm totin' these two for cigar nipping, bottle opening, and fish filleting, in that order.
Thank you, Dwight and that thing is a steam punk replica of a WW1 trench lighter...wowAlways interesting array of cool stuff. I can't imagine what that gold colored thing is on the left but I like it.![]()
I was just about to say the same thing, Gev. A trench lighter, steampunk style. It sure is beautiful.Thank you, Dwight and that thing is a steam punk replica of a WW1 trench lighter...wow
Yes it is indeed ! Frank sure has some fine accoutrements. I still think about his sea turtle medallion...amazing.I was just about to say the same thing, Gev. A trench lighter, steampunk style. It sure is beautiful.
Thanks Dwight! Based on the tang numbers is either walnut or cherry; my guess is walnutAll three are lovely but I really like the wood on the Robeson.
That is a very fine old beauty! I love those old "hard snapping" jacks!Have a great week all. Swanworks, Ohligs A wonderful little knife with a vicious snap!
That's a cool TL-29 your toting today!Lots of cool people tote TL-29s!
And thanks for your kind comment about the one I modded.
I'm in agreement with @Amir Fleschwund! If I'm not mistaken your Utica is a pre WWII beautyTotin' these two today

Thanks, John.
Thanks, Vince.Lovely pic of your rosewood barlow, Gary.![]()
Thanks for the reminder that .25" can make a big difference in pocket knives.Thank you, Gary. The quarter inch difference between the mini muskrat and the muskrat seems small but if very noticeable when carrying and using.
I was going to do an eighth day of redbone carry, but a week is only seven days.
Nice lambsfoot Barlow you have there.![]()
Tip of the hat to you for showing that beauty, Nick!
Is that mini copperlock smooth synthetic, or is it part of the white jigged SPARXX series?Morning church, White Icthus Case Mini-Copperlock, evening church, Case Sodbuster Jr. in Yellow Delrin.
Thank you, sir. It is indeed uniform on both sides and the F&F as a whole is excellent. When Case are on their game they can make a knife as good as anyone, IMO.
Thanks, JJ....
I'm starting to feel you pain! I'd better get more organized
Your new Hartshead Barlow is quite a nice addition!!!![]()
All 3 look dependable, but the Hammer Brand cattle knife is the pick of the litter IMHO!

Dwight, I think I will go with one word, but with caps for LBJ....
Lambarjack is looking fine. So we gonna make the name one word?

I always enjoy your pics with that little pond in the background, Dean!
Handsome knife, Dave!
Two folder day!! Now you're talking, Tom!These two today.

Tim, how often do you have to pinch yourself to make sure you're not just dreaming that you have that sensational knife?
Beast Mode!!![]()
Chinese made Schrade, kinda a maroon purplish bone, would look great in smooth bone. Looks good in sawcut though. This is the best of the China Schrades I've seen, only fault is a tiny gap between a spring and center liner. This is the big lumberjack model, and it blows the delrin one I picked up outta the water.
Have a safe and pleasant fishing expedition, Stuart; I'm impressed by your advance planning!I'm heading out tomorrow morning @ o'dark hundred hours to fish with my son and our neighbor at the mouth of the Potomac River in the Chesapeake Bay.
