Gorgeous Steve. I greatly enjoy your use of wood in your photos.
Is that mini copperlock smooth synthetic, or is it part of the white jigged SPARXX series?
Thank you JJ.That is a very fine old beauty! I love those old "hard snapping" jacks!
Beautiful scene Jack. Have a good one my friend.Morning folksHere's me today
Thanks GT. Very nice trio of watercraft!Dwight, I think I will go with one word, but with caps for LBJ.
The knife you posted is an eye-opener for me; sehr gut!
I like the pull, Steve. It certainly is no bear trap, but as long as I remember it is a slipjoint, it’s never made me think it was going to close on my fingers. One cool thing is that there is a noticable difference in pull on either side if the very solid half stop. Out of the well to the half stop is medium, which I like. No nail bending, and no fear for my fingers. PLUS, it’s easier to ease closed by pinching between thumb and fore finger. This is not a knife to allow to slam shut since it can get blade rap.I like it a lot as well. Only thing that could be better is that the pull is pretty light. It want to close a little easier than I would like.
How is the pull on yours ?
I thought I could make out enough of Grohmann and Canada... very knice!GT it's a Rosewood Grohmann Slimline Pocket Knife

What ever the station of life that you've become
Whatever the weave that you've spun
In the name of the father
The name of the son
With the crack of the timber
And the sound of the end of the world fills your ears
May the angels protect you
When the last ship sails

Thanks for the reminder that .25" can make a big difference in pocket knives.I learned that early on in comparing a Case peanut (2 7/8") and a little Imperial serpentine jack (3 1/8"), but I sometimes forget.

I was unduly influenced by a song titled "Eight Days a Week".
Thanks for the Barlow comment, Dean.
