Just used my Farmer to make/pack a lunch for my better half and I. Sliced and cored apples, sliced Brie and bread, spread mayo on sandwiches. Best sharpened butter knife ever :)

Schrade Fire & Ice Trapper made by GEC in 2007. There was a thread about these knives this AM so I decided to carry one of mine today.

I picked this up from jdracing and it's been in my pocket for about 3 days straight now.

You are a dangerous influence on my shrinking wallet, Ed! Your pictures of the mini copperhead were instrumental in creating my desire for that knife. Now you have reminded me how much I wanted this one when jd listed it. So, I went back to his sale thread and picked up the natural bone mini copperlock he was selling.

Today a package arrived with some lovely things in it:

1. Scagel Fruitport Wharnie, ram's horn
2. Tidioute Congress, midnight jigged bone (almost black, but you can see the dark blue shimmering through)
3. Tidioute White Owl, ebony
4. Northwoods Whittler, buffalo horn
5. Queen Small Stockman, amber bone

I had an eye on these for a long time, and FINALLY it is in my pocket. The grind on this one is excellent and just wants to be used. I was rather surprised at how translucent the scales are (can't really be seen in the photograph).

The others will be carried in the next days as well. Especially the White Owl feels just right in the hand, a slim gentleman's knife.
Next on the list would be a #66 Serpentine Jack. Yes Andi, that will be your fault :)

Take care
