Beautiful knife!

Delrin Wednesday or is it Wooden Wednesday? One of each to be safe.
The 33OT jack goes back to high school in the ‘70s. All I had/carried was this, or a Schrade yellow trapper. And a folding fish knife and Rapala filet knives, of course, that lived in my tackle boxes.View attachment 1167133

Thanks, Ron. :) That Pioneer is certainly one of my most satisfying finds so far.
I understand why Gary! :)

Still a powerfully handsome pair, Ron.

Thank you, pal. You brought me out of my period of somnolence.

Thanks, Jeff. The fishing was fine, hot weather for the week, but fish were biting. We scored lots of Spanish mackerels and bluefish while trolling, and ate them all (grilled and broiled) each evening. Here's a bit of knife porn from my fishing locker:

No fish pics, as my hands were either slimey or gripping a drink and not suited for holding my phone. Plus, the fish were dead.

While fishing with a very youthful (to me), and distracted, crew, I asked several of the younger guys (in their late-20's) if they could swear off social media for a day or two. Email was OK to see and pay bills. They took me up and two days later, I bought dinner and the bar bill for a lot of happy guys (who all admitted that they liked the break). I took the break a little longer and missed a good bit of this thread. Apologies to all for my radio silence - it was benevolent, not begrudging. I'm slowly coming up to speed for BF and my other internet haunts, but it has been halting.

Thanks for the compliment Stuart! That’s quite a nice group of fishing cutlery you’ve got there. I’m sure that you have your favorites and probably depending on the task your are performing! In this day and age we are more addicted to social media. I personally took a hiatus from the forum for a couple of weeks once, so I know it can be accomplished! :) It’s good to have you back and know that you’re well! I know this place we call “The Porch” is a group of genuinely caring and generous folks. We actually care about each other here which is more and more uncommon in this day and age! :)

The best kind of day is a Double Lambsfoot Day! :D ;)
Yes indeed my friend! :)

These two for me today

I’m just carrying one knife today. However my Dixie stockman does have three very capable blades! :D

Went to a bonfire at a relatives house last night. He showed me his new knife display case and ended up gifting me this geo schrade
Very nice display your friend has Willard and George Schrade is a super cool gift!

Rara Avis, Dwight!
Yes it is GT.

Dwight, I certainly admire your cast metal knives!:thumbsup::thumbsup: It can't be due to nostalgia, since I never saw knives like that when I was young. Maybe I'm just awed by the detail and craftsmanship.
Thanks GT. I am fascinated by the detail in these knives and they are each and every one a wonderful time capsule. Love the canoes!

Thanks for the confirmation, Tom. :) That scout is special!:cool::thumbsup:

More of my carries for this week follow.
