About to be in the jelly zone.

Cool Ettrick, Dwight! :cool::cool::thumbsup: Looks like it's doing the limbo! ;)

#43 Oregon Trapper and black walnut,
and Schrade 881Y and white oak. Both knives are in my pocket, and I grew both of these trees from seed. View attachment 1166572View attachment 1166571

Arboraceous and amazing, Jeff! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

What a dreamy duo, Steve! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Today's carry is the same as yesterday, my new Case Stockman. ...
Looks fantastic at the old watering hole, Dean; the round bolsters and nearly sunk joints have major appeal to me! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Camillus #12

Classic pattern, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It’s been a busy morning! Hope y’all have a great day! :) :thumbsup:

Harvey, I'm not a huge fan of micarta, but the denim variety is an exception! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Went to a bonfire at a relatives house last night. He showed me his new knife display case and ended up gifting me this geo schradeView attachment 1166799 View attachment 1166800
The subject of each pic is very impressive! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Today with Bulldog barlow 2007 on stag!!;):thumbsup:

Splendid stag Barlow, José! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thank you G.T. I also got a “glow in the dark” canoe which I’ll show later in the week. Love both RR canoes and the Case Stockman.
Thanks for your support, Harvey. :) I have a RR "Moon Glow" canoe, and I'm a little embarrassed to admit how much I enjoyed repeatedly setting it in the sunshine and then taking it into a dark closet to see how long it took to "fade out"! :rolleyes:

Thank you. Just a humble ebony 25 from 2015.

Thanks for the info, Trav. :) I'd hardly call that ebony "humble"! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

... when you feel like your backside is dragging your tracks out...
:p:D I've certainly felt that way, Ron, but I've never heard this description before; good one! :cool::thumbsup::D

Thank you.
I bought a cheap old Chinese knife that was in the sheath, to get the sheath. It happens to work well with this knife, so I didn't have to make one. If the blade gets rusty, we'll know I was wrong about the material being fake leather.
Thanks for the info, Jer; seems like an efficient approach. :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

It is indeed a 6347 with 3 springs and amazingly thin for its size. The 18 is a favorite for many people; collecting them would be a daunting challenge.

The humpback stockman is a fascinating design; a commendable carry for a discerning knife knut, Gary.
Thanks for the 6347 confirmation, Dean. Thanks also for your positive comments on my humpback stockman. I hope it's a commendable carry even for a guy like me who's somewhat lacking in discernment! :)

...
Yep that's the one. Fine choices, Gary.

- Stuart
Thanks, Stuart. :) And thanks for the fishing summary and the insights into your social media challenge. :thumbsup::cool:

...
Very nice threesome today; that humpback stockman is extremely cool!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

For today, two slick slicers wearing wood; 1 Italian and 1 American.:)
Thanks for your positive feedback on my knives, JJ. :) You've got some grand Wednesday wood choices! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

- GT

Thanks Gary, yes it is a cup made of Alder wood taken from the bottom of the river!;):thumbsup:
Very interesting info, José; thanks. :)

...
Thanks pal, looks like you have happy pockets :) :thumbsup:

These two for me today :thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. :) New and old, you have quality knives! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

I completely agree with you.

Very, very nice. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks, John. :)
Cool photo of your classy lambsfoot! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

...
Delrin Wednesday or is it Wooden Wednesday? One of each to be safe.
The 33OT jack goes back to high school in the ‘70s. All I had/carried was this, or a Schrade yellow trapper. And a folding fish knife and Rapala filet knives, of course, that lived in my tackle boxes.View attachment 1167133
That OT sure doesn't look like it's nearing 50 years old, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I’m just carrying one knife today. However my Dixie stockman does have three very capable blades! :D

Stunning stockman, Ron; remarkable patina and osage orange! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Beauty! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: What's the wood on that Opinel?

A pair of stainless steel super slicers (5 blades!):

Cool pair, Vince! :cool::cool::thumbsup: Is that a mini trapper and a 303 or a full size trapper and a 301?

...
Thanks GT. I am fascinated by the detail in these knives and they are each and every one a wonderful time capsule. Love the canoes!
Thanks, Dwight. :)
Cool shot of your Douk-Douk! :thumbsup::cool::cool: I happen to be carrying mine this week. :thumbsup:

A little Boker Barlow today....

Superb Barlow, @315 ! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I'm carrying my old friend, a Uncle Henry 897UH. I've had this knife for over 30 years and it was my EDC for the first 10. I still like it a lot.

Looks great, Dean! :cool::thumbsup::cool: Have the springs developed a patina? Thanks so much for introducing me to the pattern! :)

Thanks GT, that Primble scout is one of my favorites. Nice carries, the Case stockman is a beauty :thumbsup:
...
These two for me today, an AG Russell lockback and a Winchester scout in French ivory.

Thanks, Tom. :)
I always enjoy your 2-folder days! ;):cool::cool: What's the wood an the AG Russell?

The hot and/or stormy weather has (temporarily?) broken here, so I've started removing some creeping vines from my ground cover that is invading our white oak and hickories. These seemed to contain a good candidate for the cutting part of the job:

But, then I spotted this old Sabre and it was a suitable choice (also fitting for Wooden Wednesday):

Vince, does that recipe require an entire can of Spam for ONE sandwich?!? :eek:o_O

- GT

Cool pair, Vince! :cool::cool::thumbsup: Is that a mini trapper and a 303 or a full size trapper and a 301?
Full size. :)
Vince, does that recipe require an entire can of Spam for ONE sandwich?!? :eek:o_O
Didn't pay much attention to the recipe. Found it after I made mine because I knew I couldn't be the first to make such a delicious sandwich. I noticed the recipe calls for "Less Sodium" Spam. I never buy that. Or "less sodium" anything, for that matter. I sliced my Spam into 10 slices and used 2 for the sandwich. I think I have made 8 slices out of a can, but 10 makes for better size slices.

Is it Two Trapper Totin' Thursday, again, already? Well, OK, then.

This pair really fill the pockets!
- Stuart
Stuart, I see you’ve brought out the big boys to play today! ;) I bet they do fill up a pocket! :thumbsup: :D

Two recent stellar lambsfoots from UK and USA!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

:p:D I've certainly felt that way, Ron, but I've never heard this description before; good one! :cool::thumbsup::D
Thanks for the compliment on the Lambsfoots Gary! :) I don’t know exactly where that saying originated. I figured it’s a Southern thing because I’ve heard it for as long as I can remember. I did change one word to keep it family friendly! ;) :rolleyes:

Stunning stockman, Ron; remarkable patina and osage orange! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Thanks buddy! :) :thumbsup:
