What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Is one of my favorites.

Beautiful knives Jeff. The character in your rugged hands adds a great deal.

Thanks much! Hadn’t thought about the hands other than trying not to show the garden soil under my nails!
That Gordo is special! Is that burl?

I’ll bet it would make quick work of all those mattress tags. You know you want to...

Just received this #14 from a fellow BF member today. This is my second one and it’s a small but mighty little knife.

Beautiful yellow bone. Just perfect.
Felt fortunate to get one of these when it dropped. Probably the first time I have been fast enough.

That’s sooo nice! Good time to be quick!

Came in yesterday, in my pocket today. Schatt & Morgan Scout knife. They call it a Keystone, but was made in 2013. Was hard to get a good pic of the liners with the light and time I had, but this will do. So much that I like about this knife. And one of the sharpest knives I've ever had out of the box. I'm missing 1/2" x 3/4" patch of arm hair because I wasn't expecting it! Some flaws with the fit. Blade rub, particularly bad between the punch and the spear. You can see it on the spear in the pile side pics. Back springs not flush at open, particularly on spear and cap lifter. Gap on one edge between scale and bolster at opposite ends of knife, looks like the stag wasn't cut square. I like it and I'm keeping it, but is there a way to fix some of these issues? Particularly the blade rub and back springs.

Haven't posted in this thread in awhile, been so busy lately. Just been dropping in a bit here and there when I get a minute. Anyway I carried this Queen today while doing some landscaping stuff for the boss. Made short work of trimming these vines, the little caterpillar was pretty laid back. The big red carpenter ants that fell out and all over me, not so much!

I thought the caterpillar was a design in the scales!!! Would look brilliant if it was. Might be an idea for knife designers.o_O
