I developed little cuts on my fingers from pinching it open. ;) :D
Yeah, that can happen. My only complaint, is that I'd prefer it without half stops on the secondaries. When I'm opening the sheepfoot blade, it kinda twists my thumbnail a little bit. I'm getting used to it, though. Either my nail is toughening up, or I'm learning how to pull my nail out of the nick in time. If that makes any sense.

Thanks, Jack. :) Your pair looks very useful; your stag HHB has become quite a constant companion for you!:cool::thumbsup:

Good luck on your Elk hunt! OH

Elk?? Our dove and resident goose seasons haven't even opened yet (this coming Monday and Sunday, respectively). You are packing a potent pair today. Both are beautiful, Dylan. Good luck and safe travels.

I hope your hunt is as good as those two beauties Dylan! If it is you’ll have a freezer full of Elk! :D

May there be a full freezer in your home!

Hope to see pics of the working knives you use to dress it out.

Absolutely beautiful pair. Bow season where you are?

Nice pairing Dylan, have a great trip my friend :)

Magnificent (nearly)matched bone, Dylan!:thumbsup::cool: Fare thee well on the elk hunt week!

Thank you so much for the kind compliments and good wishes, fellas. Though I had a terrific time traipsing about the woods and mountains and experienced close encounters with all sorts of critters, I was not able to fill my tags this go around. Not to worry though, there is still plenty of season left. And to answer some of the questions above, it is indeed archery season here and I have both deer and elk tags (elk being the primary target).

I have a fair number of pictures to go through and process from my trip so in the meantime, I will simply share a pic of my knife choices today. My daughter wanted to pick at least one and so she picked what she though was one of my prettiest. That paired with my Waynorth Lambfoot in Ebony make for a good looking duo.
