Home run !! Looking forward to seeing them both often.Thank you Stuart! I like that little fixed blade and your buddy is pretty awesome too!
I had the one on the right all week and then it’s younger brother also in bone showed up today just in time to ward off that Monday guy. Besides someone’s lousy attempt to remove the rust spots, it’s in excellent condition. May have been so lightly used but I believe it hasn’t been sharpened.

That's classic, lol!A pleasureLOL! I grew up thinking that people like 'Joe Rodgers' and 'Tommy Ward' were family members because they got mentioned so much!

Outstanding choices over the last three days!It has been all GEC's the past 3 days for me. One single blade for the back pocket and a multi blade in the front.

Thanks, JJ. No limes were skinned nor sliced by me, but service did seem to pick up when I balanced those blades on the bar. Those competing beauties are so luminous in your photo. Bravo!!
Sunk joints make for some sleek knives and that is a slick pair there in fabulous condition, JJ. Thank for sharing them.
Thanks for your kind words Stuart!!! That's an excellent way to expedite your bar service!Really fine stuff, JJ. Again.
I'm a huge fan of pairing a SAK with a nice fixed blade, outstanding; along with your handsome four legged friend you are certainly "living the dream!!!"It's hot and humid here, again, so I picked out some stainless to tote and took Loki for a walk.

May the sacred space between thought and emotion expand,my brother

Another 72 beauty Nick!!! I'm pretty sure your "short line" is the original Camillus issue of the decade later release of the Official BSA whittler, very cool!!!
That's very kind Harvey, though I have a feeling you are writing your PhD dissertation in cutlery!Thank you kindly JJ. You’re one of my Professors here.![]()
Your picture brightened my day, José. Thanks.
That stag clip/pen Dog's Head Ka-Bar-low is magic, Todd!Happy Staguday!...
Thanks, Harvey; my problem is I think ALL sowbelly stock knives are sweet.
Thanks for the praise for my knives, JJ....
Thanks x2 Gary!!! Really lovely couple of Stock knives; the acorn shield on your sowbelly always reminds me of the old Remington knives, tantalizing tobacco bone!
...
Majestic pair and major-league photo (hardly any reflectionsToday's totes are a couple of pocket friendly pre WWII Robeson knives.
...
Thanks, José.Pretty patina on a good knife Gary.![]()
Magisterial Sunday pair, Jack; interesting acrylic covers!...

Thanks, Harvey....
5K Qs - Thank you GT. Like you, I’ve been scentless(senseless?
). My Dad was mostly an Old Spice Man. I also liked English Leather, but mostly because of the wooden top, and 4711. More fine knives from you, as always.
Must feel good to have Pandora pandering to what they perceive your needs are.I told Pandora I liked the Grateful Dead and the Pretty Reckless, and the next thing I saw was a Viagra ad.
This one too, today:
...
Memorable handle shape and bolster art on your Pattada, Charlie! The Pattada is a gift from a friend in Paris!! And he helped me order the Mozetta! I am carrying them both today to remind me of  and his wonderful family!!

Thanks for supporting my knife choices, Dean.Thank you, Gary! Very nice Sowbelly and that Schrade is a wonderful knife.
Thank you for your comments and information on your Canoes. I like the sowbelly stockman, but still like the 6347 (and 897UH) better.
Great SAK choices for this week.![]()
Matchless pair, @315 !Yesterday was the Victorinox Soldier. Taught a couple of Hunter Ed classes with it in my pocket, then at the bar watching WSU give it away to UCLA.
Today is laundry day and it’s miserable outside so the Case gets to ride along.
...
Congrats on the "demo knife", David!...
Since about 10:30 when I bought it
...
This was in my pocket when I left out this morning![]()
I hadn't read any Vonnegut for at least 40 years until I pulled out Player Piano a few weeks ago; either I'd never read it before, or I've completely forgotten everything about it!...
It seemed to be a similar name to the Canittler. Thanks Gary; I really enjoy all the many patterns and iterations that Imperial did over their long history. It seems that both Imperial and Camillus really came on strong in the Post WWII period. Btw, when I was young I was a huge Kurt Vonnegut Fan; great background to your cool Alox electrician, great choices!
...
Nice pairing, both in terms of colors and in terms of model number permutations! My Monday totes are a couple from Remington; an R2215 jack with yellow "pyremite" covers from the 1930s and an R1225 big jack that was made by Camillus (#23 pattern) post WWII.
...
Your yellow Case trio looks mint!Going with yellow today but just can't make up my mind, the Sowbelly, the Stockman or the Trapper. Which would you pick?
...
I like your PAL, Jeff!
WCase and Churchill today

Congrats on the 29 and your surprising reaction, Matt!Still with the 29 today. I had no interest in this knife when it was announced, but so glad I took the plunge finally. I like this knife so much more than I expected.
...
Monumental pair, Dean!Busy afternoon ahead, but I'll have these two with me.
...
Congrats on the monarchical Robeson, Harvey!!...
So JJ...I came across this Robeson, never hearing the name before seeing your fabulous collection. It stood out, because it had all the touches I like. After acquiring it, I researched it, having been led to believe that it was manufactured somewhere between 1896 and 1899(because of the tang stamp). It wouldn’t have mattered when, because, I simply fell for it. Thank you.

A great looking EDC, Jack, and thanks for the subsequent pictorial and tutorial on the knife, it's cousins, and their historical context.
It's hot and humid here, again, so I picked out some stainless to tote and took Loki for a walk.

Now that we're back, he's resting indoors and I finishing up power washing our decks. Just living the dream!
Recycled pics because Loki was too excited for me to get clear photos.

A Baby Butterbean and a Steingass EDC today. Makes a nice combo, for me.
![]()
Carried these two today, forgot to post the pic earlier in the day.![]()
That's classic, lol!I like your gum choice with your wonderful HHB Jack!

My pocket kiridashi. The sheath needs some cleaning and oil + wax, since it was made of recycled leather. My leatherworking skills could be improvedThe knife is a small, 160 mm overall and after some sharpening scalpell - like instrument, I used it to make this sheath. I like the idea that broadheads, knives and swords need to be so sharp you treat them with caution and respect. The straight chisell edge makes sharpening easy.
The tang was considerably softer than the edge, so this is partially heat-treated. This made it possible to drill a hole in the tang and shape it quite easily.

That's a nice punch pair there, too, r8shell.
Thanks!Meritorious punch bunch, Rachel!![]()
I read somewhere they were made for schoolkids to sharpen pencils.Very interestingI have a kiridashi in my desk drawer, but it is not in the same league as that beauty, and I have never really known what to do with it
