"La clef des champs" is the name of Pierre Yves Joyeux 's workshop.
Word by word it can be translated by : the key of the fields. But it's a french way to say the key of the liberty .

I'm happy to see that you like this laguiole. It's really elegant and thin .:)
A beauty!! And thanks for the translation!! And Pierre has a "happy" last name!!:D

@sunknife The upper two below are the pattern to which @traumkommode refers. I agree that Charlie's is a fine homage. But, then, all of Charlie's offerings are pretty special.

Your 2OT knives are absolutely gorgeous, Stuart!:thumbsup:

Wednesday is one of my favorite days that ends with a “Y”. ;) Today’s carry is a #53 Furtaker Trapper with Jigged Wenge Wood. Forgive the recycled photo! :D

Great photo, Ron, and a grail knife for many!

By all rights I should post a photo of this knife daily, because no matter what I’m doing or whatever else I’m carrying a Victorinox Classic will be found on whichever key ring happens to be in my pocket.

If there were a vote for single greatest “EDC item” this would be the winner, hands down.

Combine this with a P-38 and we could re-build civilization from scratch.

I couldn't agree more!:thumbsup::thumbsup: My Vic Classic is on my keyring and with me all the time, has been for many years although I do have several Classics that I rotate through.

Was fortunate enough to pick up another Walden 885. Shinned up the shield and bolsters they looked pretty rough but nice and reflective now. Been carrying it ultra thin slicer View attachment 1202433
