What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Your photo really shows off the nice looking elk on your BF301!

Thanks! I'm so thankful for Alan for gifting me such a spectacular knife.

I slipped this slim little guy into my pocket this morning. Thanks, @rockgolfer!

I'm toting a couple of wood covered cutters for Wednesday; a beefy Case Hunter from the late 60s and a lightweight Portuguese slicer from Mam.:)
Thank you JJ. Your nice Mam Slicer is a clean minimalist design.

@Jack Black - Really like your Black Box Winchester, Jack. And the always great JB SFO.

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund - Thank you Jeff. @traumkommode took a GEC Navy rope sheep blade and turned into a gentle Lamb Foot blade. The Monkey Fist is also gentle, until it isn’t.

The wood on your two carries is so nice.

Your parsley picture recalls warmer days as we seem to be skipping most of autumn and rushing headlong into winter. I have a couple window box style planters on our back deck in which I plant cilantro. At the end of the season, I let them go to seed and ensure next year’s crop. I found a few new plants on Monday that found their way into my cast iron pan.
That nice knife is similar in many ways to the one we’re waiting for now, correct?
The parsley will last for about a month after the first frost, usually till around Thanksgiving. I think the 86 will be larger, and a saber sheep’s foot I guess.

@traumkommode did a real nice job!
Speaking of nice wood, your Laguiole is a beaut! Is that olive wood?

My kale is the same way. I’ve dug the leaves out from under six inches of snow and it’s fine. In fact, it’s sweeter after the frost comes. I know a lot of people don’t like kale, but we think it’s good. For sure, it has the longest harvest season in my garden. And even though you can just snap the leaves off like a heathen, I use a knife, because knives are more genteel and civilized.
