A Camillus "Rough Cut" stockman with Camillus alloy steel (Cold Steel Carbon V) keeps finding it's way into my pocket. It isn't the nicest knife I own, but I love the steel and it just seems to fit me.

Oh whoa! Love that one Anthony! That has got to be THE most fabulous, perfect brown bone I have seen...perfect jig, in a great color. Not to mention the sexy curve of the blade..

Anthony, that is one of the most beautiful knives I have seen, you are a lucky man to own it. The swedge is amazing, Kerry is certainly one of the best, Tony is a great teacher and Kerry a great student.

Best regards and enjoy that knife. Hope your turkey hunting is successful.

Just picked it up this past week. It's not the "Cat" K55K, this one's a slipjoint. 3 3/4in. handle, 3in. blade. It's simple as simple can be. The single carbon blade took a great edge and light in the pocket. Great opening and closing snap! Dale H.

She really is one fine cutter.

I pocketed these today.

I sharpened this one today. Was not happy with the factory edge. Now it is sharp. :D

Ever since I thinned out the main blade edge to my liking and sharpened her up, I have been carrying and using this Winchester sowbelly stockman and getting a natural patina started.

Those cases realy looks good. I realy dont see the point with a warnkliffe blade and a straight edge is a second blade in the way I see it but the traditional look of that special knife realy talks to me. Its straight out beautiful.

FLymon,

I am thinking of buying a Swayback in CV

How 'big' or 'small' is the sway back
Compare it to the 3 1/2" Mini trapper

What is the F&F like.
Worth the price?

thanks

Your knife looks good in here and you are quite welcome.

I've been carrying and using an old Imperial two blade jack that I cleaned up, sharpened and gave some new legs to. I've actually been quite happy with it's performance, particularly as it cost me $3.00 at a flea market. :)

But of course I won't leave any of the others jealous for too long.

Hi,

Oddly enough, I too have an Irish made Imperial small Jack in my pocket also today. Though mine is a like new garage sale find and didn't require anything but a sharpening. Got to love the MOT hollow crimped on scales!
