What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

There is a old gentleman at the knife sharpening store here in town that always has 12 knives on him. Yes he wears suspenders.

I'm dating myself, but that makes me think of the Damon Runyon story about Terrible Twelve Gun Tweeney. :p

At home today, using the Hanson regrind.

Jeff
I looked up Damon Runyon and he was wrote quite prolifically. I found an ebook site and I like his style. Thanks.

Still hooked on the Hammer Brand

I was listening to Damon Runyon on the radio

Thank you buddy! Nice shots, and even nicer knife. I do believe that would be my favorite style knife. The equal end cigar right?

Yes and its my first!! Its a biggun at 3 and 3/4. Thank you for the compliment, Kevin

Jeff you have to love the internet...listening to 12 Gun Tweeny now..its so cool. (Tobias The Terrible -Damon Runyon Theater)

"Tweeny ...step closer to the bench..so that I can see what kind of a villain you are!"

Picked up a Bear & Sons small stockman at the country store over the weekend while we were up the lake. I couldn't resist as the display case was at the register and it was marked down to <$20. Staglon type handles, decent grinds, good fit and finish for such a low price, though I can't find anything like it in their current catalog. So I've been carrying it for a couple days and I'm quite happy with it.
In my other pocket is a Fontenile-Pataud 7cm lockback Laguiole in curly birch, very nice. I really need to get pics of all my latest pickups.

Just before turning in for the night, I set this slender fellow out for pocket carry tomorrow, Case 32087 pen.

I was just looking at the post with the great Norfolk that Jared Oeser made. It prompted me to carry this one today.

Vintage CASE XX pen knife with red bone scales. It's thin and sleek yet has a nice sized blade. I have several larger Case red bone knives but I find myself carrying the smaller ones more like this one and the peanut.

Last night I found myself admiring the sunken joint(s) of my mini copperhead:

Following which, I decided to carry it today, the first time in a while.
