What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just slid this fresh new Soddy, direct from my Post Office Box just about an hour or so ago, into my right front pocket for the first time ever!. I think I am liking her!.

Cheers to All,

Anthony

It looks like they're very slightly changing the blade profile on the bullnose knives. I may be mistaken, but I remember my earlier (2nd run black version) had a bit more belly and a little less of a point. I wonder if someone with all the versions can take a look or post a picture.

(Can't carry it to work. Doesn't meet the size regulations.)

From what you've said, you're fortunate your fingernails meet the size regulations.

I'm very much enjoying having my mini copperhead along again today. It's such a sleek, sweet little knife.

This older picture remains a favorite:

Only have the black version, but I can't tell any difference between that and the redneck farm tool:

Thanks Daddyo for posting yours -- I too see no difference between yours and my Redneck either. They both look  to me! :D

This one has been sitting around, neglected for awhile, so into the pocket it goes. Great cutter, I mean, outstanding, but a little different in appearance.

Just remembered why I don't carry the Buck Creek. A few minutes ago I stepped out to the deck to have a smoke and do a little whittling, the thing bites! Serious hotspots in the hand after a couple of cuts. So I switched to this Boker, a trusted old friend.

I love this pic, I do not care how old it may be. You know, I have always loved the #57's looks, but I never saw it as enough justification to get one for an EDC. How do you like it Sturzi?

Thanks, I love it. Although I think the 57 looks kind of odd, it has a lot of features I like:
The wider frame just feels right in hand.
I've always been a fan of wharncliffes. The wider blade with the shallow grind slices really well, but is still scary pointy.
It's almost an Easy Open, just pinching the blade works well (except with wet/sweaty fingers).
Every knife should have a small coping blade.
And the cocobolo looks beautiful in good light.

I'd say it sees the most pocket time of all my traditionals.

You know Vangard,
over time i have read through this entire thread, all 770+ pages
in that time, 3 knives have stuck out in my head

1) That black G10 Moose
2) There is a bone barlow that went around a bit here and in the old knives thread
and (think its an old ulster)
3) Your marbles

just a beauty
just thought I would share

Haha thanks! It is one of, if not my favorite slipjoint. I am very fond of it. I believe they only made 25 of them, so I couldn't believe I found one.

An interesting picture I found in my book while doing some homework tonight. Figured I'd toss in the Peanut and Cadet for a better view :D.

This kicked the Peanut out of my pocket weeks ago. Wish they made more frames in this handle material and in CV.
