What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Many thanks JJ, that's another fine pair there :) I'm sure I'm not alone in really enjoying seeing so many knives from your collection :)

Happy Christmas Eve folks, wishing each and every one of you a joyous and peaceful Christmas. I'll be taking it easy, for the most part today, hoping to enjoy some good food and a few libations this evening ;) Treating myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day  :)

Thanks, JJ; my knives and I always feel cool and confident when were vacationing by Lake Huron. ;)
I enjoy reading what various people use for knife care/maintenace/storage.:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, JJ. :)
Superlative Schrades for you! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Sowbelly this week is a Rough Rider in amber jigged bone, the first sowbelly I ever had; I was totally surprised how much I liked the pattern:

Was there a Doctor Who where the snowmen were effectually malevolent? I think so. Maybe a Matt Smith one.

My daughter says yes and yes. A Christmas special called The Snowmen.

Vince beat me to it... They were controlled by the Great Intelligence.
It was the first episode where Clara enters the TARDIS, although not the first episode with Clara.
It was also the first episode my kids watched, and they were hooked for life. :D

I may try again. It took me forever to start buying CDs when they came out, and now they're hard to find. I'm a little slow when it comes to technology. But I learned how to use a smartphone, and finally how to post pics. :)
I got a smart phone recently, and I'm thinking about linking it to the car, but I fear "the internet of things". I may come around though; I've started to accept that auto-loading pistols might work.

Great pairing of the top two knives of the year.
Hope your Christmas is full of the joy and excitement of the season, Jack.

Many thanks John, you too my friend :)

Happy Christmas Eve everybody.
Going to smoke up some ribs and have family over for a big dinner.
Tomorrow it's off to church to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.:thumbsup:

Nice seasonal pic John :)

My family is spending Christmas on Jekyll Island this year. Yesterday I got an early Christmas present. My favorite hamburger, with the exception of the ones I make myself, is a “Whataburger”. I know some of my friends here Prester John Prester John and @r8shell have them close to their homes. The closest Whataburger location to our home is over 180 miles away. That’s not really practical to drive that far for a Burger even a good one. When we come to visit Jekyll Island there is a location at Yulee FL. It is a short drive down I95. So I was able to get an early present which consisted of a Whataburger Double with cheese, fries and a large Coke! Here’s a photo! My vacation knife content consists of a Tidioute #53 TK Cuban with Christmas Lights acrylic handles and a Wright’s large Lambsfoot with Pere David Stag handles. :)

Cool Ron, love the pic  :)

Awesome, Ron! I love Jekyll Island--spent a few days there with my family one summer. And Whataburger is my favorite burger too (of the "fast food" chains, anyway). I was born about a mile or so from the first Whataburger, and have eaten at Whataburgers frequently all of my life. It's been almost a week since I was there.
Anyway, wishing you and everyone a merry Christmas!

Gorgeous bone Steve :)

I am so woefully behind on this thread and hope to catch up soon, but I'm Miss Norma's Delivery Elf today and she's glaring at me now as I type this post. I received the BF 2019 knife last week, but just decided to tote it today in the holiday spirit. I introduced my new friend to some old friends, the three Miller Bros. brothers.

Unfortunately, the combined table lamp and daylight cast a slightly yellow glare on the group, but no time for a re-do (according to She Who Must Be Obeyed). Jack Black Jack Black Jack, notice what I picked up at my local British goodies store while grabbing some holiday cigars. Similar to your wonderful pomfrets, but sticky toffee that will pull the fillings/crowns from your teeth. Very mild liquorice taste.

I hope to introduce the new knife to a close Clauss cousin, but he was taking a walkabout when I went to grab him. If you see him, let me know.

I know the feeling Stuart! :D I absolutely love those liquorice toffees, but they have taken a heavy dental toll over the years, so they are just a rare treat these days  Love the pics :) Have a great day my friend

Beautiful Gev :)

Your Primble and your KOTY are a fine duo, Jack!:cool::thumbsup:

Was there a Doctor Who where the snowmen were effectually malevolent? I think so. Maybe a Matt Smith one.

Which reminds me of that great early Mrs Peel Avengers called Too Many Christmas Trees. Though it was Father Christmas himself who was effectually malevolent. Steed shot him.

Which reminds me of that Mrs Peel tribute to the tune of Short Skirt, Long Jacket, to which Jack Black Jack Black alerted me. Thanks for the reminder. I'll watch that again now.

I might watch it again myself Jer ;)

Sincere thanks JJ, and a very Happy Christmas to you my friend :)

Hope everyone is having a lovely time :) My Hartshead Barlow was on present duty this morning ;) Just about to have some Fizz and snacks :) A friend asked me to be Phone Santa to his little boy earlier - and gave me the wrong phone number! o_O
