My boss(self proclaimed tech dinosaur) finally got a smart phone. I linked it to his car and signed him up for google music service. He recently went on a trip and marveled when he came back how nice it was to have the gps talk to him through the speakers to travel. With the music service he downloaded a couple dozen of his favorite albums and didnt realize it continues were you left off when you get back in the vehicle.

My horrible 40 year old eyesite appreciates the gps so I dont have to read road signs. Technology ain't all bad, give it a try :)

Merry Christmas all!

Thanks, you've convinced me, I will.

Here is a cautionary tale of how this hobby progresses. In the beginning, I would never pay more than $100 for a knife. The Bose/Case Sowbelly catalog knife was truly a bargain. The next step was a super deal on a pre-owned Ebony Bose/Case collaboration Wharncliff Trapper. More than $200, but such a sweet knife and worth every penny! Then, after enjoying Tony’s genius vicariously, I went all in for the real thing, hence the Stag Zulu. You know what, this ride was worth every penny.

I have also gotten to know the Great One a bit. Tony is the most genuine and down to earth person I have ever met. He is the man as they say, and he deserves much credit for creating such incredible knives that we can enjoy at any price point.

Sincere thanks JJ, and a very Happy Christmas to you my friend :)

Hope everyone is having a lovely time :) My Hartshead Barlow was on present duty this morning ;) Just about to have some Fizz and snacks :) A friend asked me to be Phone Santa to his little boy earlier - and gave me the wrong phone number! o_O

Great picture, Jack.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas.
And stop calling strange kids pretending to be Santa Clause. ;)

Thanks a lot guys :) Fortunately, nobody answered the call, so I wasn't dragged off to the cells for making nuisance calls on Christmas Day! What kind of doughnut doesn't know their own home phone number?! o_O It worked out alright in the end anyway, and young Jack was very excited to get a personal call from 'Santa' ;)

The new one has been in my pocket since I received it last night.:thumbsup:

That looks good John, I might invest in an orange Farmer at some point, but red looks great on your Cadet :) I bought my niece one in magenta a couple of years back

Merry Christmas to all!

My lovely wife gave me this Case Saddlehorn in Sycamore Wood today. We have many Sycamore trees here in Central Ohio and I frequently see them on hikes. They are usually near water which means rivers, creeks and streams here.

Very nice indeed Dean, I have a large sycamore in my garden :)

The family's about to arrive and I've got to get the grill going and pop some corks. Wishing all y'all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Healthy Holidays, and some sleep before the New Year is upon us (especially those of you with little kids out of school).

Lovely choice for the Big Day Stuart, hope you had a fab time :)

Truth be told, I ate some of the cookies before taking this picture. Someone might get a cookie dish that's light by a handful.
There might be a trip to the doghouse in my future!:D
