What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

G4fA7XU.jpg

Sadly, I decided to remove the trapper and canoe from pocket.
They kept trying to depart while I was sleeping. (found them on the floor twice)
So, only the RR1057 "Stroke of Luck" stockman and a Smoke Jumper Buck 110LT today.

Feels strange to only have one knife in pocket ...

Thanks, you've convinced me, I will.

I wasnt trying to convince you, sorry if it came off that way :)

I was just sharing an experience. I dont think you will find many negatives, just use what appeals to you.

This advice is coming from a guy fed up with the "instant contact culture" and wish we could just go back to pagers over cell phones. I appreciated being able to respond whenever and no one cared you didnt call back 2 seconds later. Take the good with the bad when it comes to technology. Hopefully you find that right balance.

Thanks, Jeff! I do make some neighborhood cookie deliveries!

It's Personal Raptor made by Jason Cutter (aka Dr. Kwong Yeang), an Australian Maker. Nice sturdy 6 3/8" EDC! 3/16" D2 steel, Mallee Burl handles with red liners and a tapered tang. A real handy knife.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Really appreciate the info Gary, thank you. I'll head to google and do some searching.

Very NICE Ebony ensemble Stuart:cool::cool::cool:

Beautiful dark wood Stuart! I hope y’all have a wonderful time! :)

Elegant group of ebony covered beauties Stuart; those Miller Bros. are very special! Merry Christmas!:):thumbsup:

I know the feeling Stuart! :D I absolutely love those liquorice toffees, but they have taken a heavy dental toll over the years, so they are just a rare treat these days  Love the pics :) Have a great day my friend

Lovely choice for the Big Day Stuart, hope you had a fab time :)

Great story, Stuart, and I think both knives are full of character! ;):cool:

Thanks, guys, and Christmas was most excellent at our house - more than we deserved. Whew!!

Luscious, Gev.

Econo-canoe this week is actually priceless after Rachel "artted it up" for me earlier this year:

Premium canoe this week is a 1975 Case:

The Case canoe is radiant, GT, but the handiwork added by @r8shell to the RR canoe make it extra special.

These two for my Christmas day knives. Merry Christmas to all the fine folks on this wonderful thread!!!

Very festive robust reds, JJ. Just right for the holidays.

Merry Christmas folks, hope everyone has a wonderful time (hoping to get caught up later!) :)

Both are beautiful and appropriately red and green, Steve. The Case stockman is mighty fine.

Merry Christmas everyone...

What a handsome holiday Bison. Cheers!

Going a little overboard today, but it's fun. Merry Christmas!

Oh, my goodness gracious!!

Merry Christmas to all!

My lovely wife gave me this Case Saddlehorn in Sycamore Wood today. We have many Sycamore trees here in Central Ohio and I frequently see them on hikes. They are usually near water which means rivers, creeks and streams here.

Scintillating sensuous sycamore saddlehorn, Dean.

Truth be told, I ate some of the cookies before taking this picture. Someone might get a cookie dish that's light by a handful.
There might be a trip to the doghouse in my future!:D

That looks sweet, Gary, and the cookies, too.

Well caroling in the physical rehab hospital is over. Such a good time, it’s hard to describe. Struggled a bit singing in this elevated low oxygen air, but that’s life. No one complained, and I think they all appreciated not being forgotten on Christmas. Forgive me for not doing this more often!

Well done, Jeff. That's the spirit of the holidays.

A rope knife and a Barlow for today, both from Schatt & Morgan. :)

Great texture in that picture, JJ. Nicely done.

Excellent, Alan.

Today again in my pocket Taylors Eye Witness Lambfoot with ram's horn covers.;)

That is an absolutely gorgeous knife, Senor Pinto.

It was though, dramatic and emotional (as it should be) but here she is. Papa's best Christmas gift.

Congratulations. She's an angel.

Queen #10 and a Calf Roper today

I love that #10, Steve. You and JJ prompted my picks for totin' today.
