What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Feeling fancy and festive still :)

Now that is a whole different animal altogether. Beautiful.

Fantastic pair. :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, pal.

Just picked this up, so it's riding in my pocket now.

Very nice R1306 Tracker (correct?). I like that jigging; I have the Stagalon version.

Paul, the 61OT is a sleeper when it comes to large stockman. I haven’t used it a lot but the main blade is a real slicer. Extremely thin and narrow, I can see it being a great outdoorsman knife.

You got that right. I think it's a great all rounder. It also has the best ergonomics of any three blade knife I've ever handled.

This one will be with me tonight and tomorrow all day. It is my reminder of the real reason for Christmas. Even the best of Christians find it hard to stay focused during the more commercialized times.

But, Christmas is supposed to be fun also! So this dude will make its yearly appearance to help open kiddos toys. Since we all know they haven’t the patience to wait long!

But after that’s done, my grandfathers uncle Henry will accompany me, shown here with the hand painted/built nativity that my grandmother left behind. They embodied Christmas and it was their favorite time of year also (I do inherit that honestly).

SVTFreak, what brand is that knife with the cross inlay?

A rope knife and a Barlow for today, both from Schatt & Morgan. :)
Thank you very much, JJ. Those S&Ms, with those covers, are something else.

@Jack Black - Your Hartshead in the handmade bowel is lovely.

@SnailOffTheTrail Cogratulations o to all of you on the birth of your daughter.

D Duckdog - Beautiful wood on your hunting rifle to go very well with your new hunting boots, Stuart.

JohnDF JohnDF - Your Remington has great looking jigged bone, John.

Thanks. here's the R1306 and you can see the extent of my confusion.

I feel even more perplexed, as I have an R1173L, too (just forgot). They are different lengths and made different years, so I am floundering.

Thanks, Harvey. Unfortunately, that stockmaker is not longer around. It is fun to tote, though, and is a real conversation piece.

Absolutely beautiful, Harvey and a duck dream world.

Sweet and tart, both at once.

Then orange slices and a freakishly Sunny 60 degrees.

Thanks a bunch Harvey!!! Fantastic photographs today; a "postcard" morning shot to go along with "Linus" on those striking orange slices!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes we do . They are such nice knives that we are surprised that more people do not have them . Taylors Eye Witness Lambfoot knife with Ramshorn covers and Stainless Steel a blade

I totally agree with you Harry, it really is an extraordinary knife, very soft in hand and for me the most important is stainless steel.:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I noticed you had acquired a 61OT now, I’ve had a very similar KaBar 1108 I’ve used as an occasional EDC for some years. I understand that Camillus made the KaBar - was the Schrade 61OT also made by Camillus or is it a Swinden Key knife? I have one of those Schrade as well and think them to be essentially the same knife. Thanks, OH

Great looking knife.
Looks like the blade is much fuller too.
I've searched, bought and sold many, looking for just the right little lockback. I think my search is over as these Remingtons are perfect.

accomplishing more of the latter..
:D:thumbsup:
But seriously, they are cool pictures.:thumbsup:
