Had most of my Northfields out today for a picture taking session for pictures to go into my Knife Collection Catalogue .

And decided to carry these today since they get very little time in the pockets . Stag because Friday ends with a " Y "

Harry
All are terrific Harry, but you know how I love those Stags my friend! :thumbsup: :)

Fantastic pair, Ron! Beautiful, rich Ebony.

I have a pair in ebony with me today. I have to say, the more "premium" Opinels are quite a pleasure.

Thanks Dylan! That is definitely a premium pair you have today. :thumbsup: Both are very nice Ebony! :D

As always, Harry, I love catching glimpses of your collection, your assortment of Stag is stunning. Someday, I might catch up :D (I wouldn't count on it any time soon though :oops:).

Those 2 go well together Dylan . I surely expect that I have seen a Black Opinel before , but I can not remember when , and yours looks good to me . Or since you like to Tinker and Twix with some of your knives , maybe you dyed it ???? Either way it looks good .
I keep kicking myself for not getting one of those Ebony Lambfoot . Nice picture too my friend . The Red coffee cup and black knives go well together . I look in my cupboards and think we have a coffee cup collection also .
Thank you very much for the kind words my friend . That is not quite all of my Northfield Stag and it is about half of all of my Stags . I hope that you can catch me and I hope that I live long enough to see it . I am thinking about changing my buying habit for new knives though and only buy Stag . Remember the slips that you made for the early Sheffield Lambfoot ? I usually use one of them when I carry 2 Stag at once . Very nice slips that you made . Take care my friend .

That's a stunner, Forrest! I can't say that I am too familiar with that one, what can you tell me about it?

First of all, stunning pair yourself! As for my #86, this is from Lone Star Knives, and is made from steel and pine harvested from the USS Texas. Part of the proceeds from each sale goes to the museum there. It's for a good cause, and I have to say, you know the depth of my collection along more modern lines, but I'll tell you that this #86 is simply one of the most perfect knives I own. I'm grateful to have it.

@kamagong - Thank you kindly.

@Gevonovich - Much thanks Gev. Real nice Barlow and image.

Old Engineer Old Engineer - Kudos to you, Harry, for your carefully curated collection.

Quiet Quiet - That knife is a stunner. The Damascus pattern(raindrop) is gorgeous, and so are the hafts.

Thank you very much. I still keep taking it out of my pocket to look at it, to make sure it's real. Just a real gem.

rockgolfer rockgolfer Started a very interesting thread on Grails and their stories:cool: Whilst this is not a Grail as such it comes close :D Winchester Black Box Swell Centre Pen. Anything single spring with blades at each end sets me alight;)

Will, our taste in pocket knives has been aligned for some time now. The depths of your collection never ceases to amaze me my friend. One of these days I'll find one of these black box pen knives you show off :D until then, I will continue to admire your fine examples! Thanks for sharing

Wonderful pair JJ :cool: :thumbsup:

Morning folks, hope everyone has had a good week, it's nearly the weekend :) Carrying my Hartshead Barlow again today, together with an Old Friend, in the form of this Ulster Scout Knife, a kind gift from @scrteened porch :) :thumbsup:

Big Knife of the Week is a Remington Big Daddy Barlow (thanks, Shawn):

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a little Rough Rider whittler with a somewhat uncommon spear main:

Watch pocket Knife of the Week is a Chinese Imperial mini canoe. A pleasant coincidence is that my budget canoe this week is the regular size version of the Imperial cracked ice canoe, so I'll post a pic of the pair together:

Magnifique, JJ!! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
