Kind of rediscovered the stockman with this one this week. Instead of spaying calves I rather skinned some mandarins ... :rolleyes:

Of the 66’s I’ve picked up, I like the jigging on that one the best.
 
Laguiole, with a nice ss blade for me today. I don't want my knives looking like the old license plate in the picture! Not trying to start anything folks, just an old man's opinion! :eek:

Only just saw this, what a slow-worm;) But I'm engrossed with moving and detest it, the knives are the last to go but I've got an emergency back-up stash to tide me over:D

Excellence is Fontenille- Pataud, very smooth opening and no rust harbouring there;) like the horn scales. Very interesting composition, nice plate. Can't do the same with number plates here, they're made of aluminium (by felons..) nobody fancies an aluminium blade even if it is rustless :D Odd to think that at the end of the c19th aluminium was regarded as a costly type of material even on knife handles. Some things in the past weren't so good after all...:)
