What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Tell me more about the little fixed blade, please.

It's Enzo Necker in 12C27 and full flat grind. Looks like the scales have been home made.
Yep, Enzo Necker. I didn't make the scales, though. That one is olive wood, and they're available in a few different woods and colors of micarta. I also have a birchwood scandi grind version.
6.25" overall length, I loop a lanyard through a belt loop and let it hang in my pocket.

Thanks John, they did a great job on them. It's got the best f&f and walk and talk among my GECs.

Thank you both for the information. I'll go check them out. I've been sorta looking for a small fixed blade.

An interesting find that I traded into. Called an Otter Slip Joint(Not connected to Otter Knives, I believe)./OD green G10, Ti bale and liners with 316L steel hardware. The three inch blade is made from dendritic cobalt, and thus impervious to the vicissitudes of life.

Very sweet pair for you Harvey; the strawberry lamb and the very uniquely resistant dendritic cobalt spear Otter Slip Joint (cool acquisition, Btw!):thumbsup::thumbsup:

With the on-going move, the knives have been put away so I'm down to rough user types (one of which is cutting card like a dream but cannot be shown here, think Hitchcock film:D) Here a rather ugly Stag Mini Copper Lock that has a profile like a snake that's swallowed a big thing:eek: But it's grippy, durable and is a fine user. Locking stuff is important just now too...

Boy, you take a moment to breathe and this thread is like a two year old toddler - off and away. For Old Friends Friday, I'm totin' these guys (from 1940-1984 and 1970).

Will that is actually one beautiful user of a Mini Copperlock.

Yep, Enzo Necker. I didn't make the scales, though. That one is olive wood...

My bad. I was aware that they are making them in micarta and curly birch, but I didn't know about olive wood. Truth be told, the wood grain on yours is so straight that I wouldn't have guessed it to be olive either. Which one do you like better, scandi or flat ground?

I feel with you. In the past 10 years I moved about 9 times (maybe more, I lost count), changing the city three times and once even the country. It's a drag. Where I come from we have a saying that you are better off with your house burning down to the ground twice than moving once.

I too find your mini cooper lock rather beautiful.

Of all the Calf Roper covers turns out I like this the best.

I am shocked. Not too long ago it was the ebony covered one that was the best one. Well, I would be happy to offer your ebony Calf Roper sanctuary and TLC, should it ever feel neglected. It would make a good company to my ebony slim, that I am going to tote today. Here with Kuato:

Here too. And she has already taken her toll on some school roofs and trees. That's why Kuato is looking so sad through the window.
