What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

My bad. I was aware that they are making them in micarta and curly birch, but I didn't know about olive wood. Truth be told, the wood grain on yours is so straight that I wouldn't have guessed it to be olive either. Which one do you like better, scandi or flat ground?
They do sell them without scales too, so I might try putting my own on some day. Osage sure would be nice.
I like the way the scandi looks, but I find the flat to be a better slicer and quicker to sharpen. (and the olive wood smells nice - like olives) :cool::thumbsup:

Morning folks, I didn't get a chance to post yesterday :eek: Hope everyone is having a great weekend :) WE're being buffeted by Storm Ciara here at the moment, but I'm sure I have plenty of jobs to do in the house :rolleyes:
Here too. And she has already taken her toll on some school roofs and trees. That's why Kuato is looking so sad through the window.
Stay inside and safe, Guys!

A-1 KL 89, José! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, Gary. No pranks! ;)
:thumbsup::D

There were some really excellent knives made under the Remington name. :cool::thumbsup:

I'm not such a fan of Spear/Pen combos either, but I have a bunch of them. I think it's because they look so darn good. :):thumbsup:

Thank you, GT.
I'm not sure if it was a recent build before the factory closed for good, but it sure is put together well. :cool::thumbsup:
I appreciate the time and thought you put into your responses, John! :cool::thumbsup::)

Thanks Gary, where and when I can ;)
My town is coming off one of our cloudiest Januarys ever, so I enjoy the vicarious sunshine your pics provide! :thumbsup::D:thumbsup:

Thank you, Gary, an Uncle Henry is always classy in my book. I'm a Staglon junky!
I'm with you, Jeff. :rolleyes:

Tremendous trio! :thumbsup::cool::cool: What model is that longest knife??
Gary This is a German made Tina brand knife model number is 606, this is a knife that I chose from a pass around GAW box and as soon as I picked it up I knew that it was the one I wanted. if I'm not mistaken
@Gary W. Graley had added it to the box and he may have more information about it.
Thanks for the knife ID, and for the additional photo in another post! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Well friends it went from 70F and 5" of rain yesterday to 34F and snow flurries this morning! :eek: I hope y'all have a great day! I thought some Ebony would be appropriate for Black Friday! :)

Distinctive, dashing, dark duo, Ron! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Winchester Black Box Swell Centre Pen. Anything single spring with blades at each end sets me alight;)

Preeminent pen knife, Will! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Thank you very much, Gary. The handle material appears to be acrylic!:):thumbsup:
Most acrylics don't do much for me, but a few I find to be magnificent. Yours is one of the latter type! :cool::thumbsup::cool: (I wondered if it might be some kind of horn.)

Say a little prayer

Thanks for the memory of the Queen of Soul, Gev! :thumbsup::thumbsup::)

Had most of my Northfields out today for a picture taking session for pictures to go into my Knife Collection Catalogue .

And decided to carry these today since they get very little time in the pockets . Stag because Friday ends with a " Y "

Quite a treasure chest, Harry! :eek::thumbsup::thumbsup: And that stag 26 you picked out is a jewel!

Sticking with my old Case knives for a while.

Thanks so much @Old Hunter , this is one of my favorites. I love slipping it into my pocket.
Your stag stockman is immaculate, LT! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

...
Another excellent cutlery group Gary; your "Big Daddy" Remington bullet is a "big steel" beauty!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
...
Thanks, JJ. :)

Figured I'd tote a couple pre WWII Robeson Pocket Eze for Saturday. :)
JJ, this is what I call your "dilemma duo" or "conundrum couple" or "paradox pair"! :rolleyes::cool::cool:
If I were asked to pick which I liked better, I'd be stumped! Usually I tend to prefer a knife with a blade at each end over a jack configuration, but the bone on your jack is outstanding!
I'd probably "burn out my clutch" trying to make a decision. ;)

Nice little knife, bb8 approves. :cool::thumbsup:
Thanks, John & bb8. :)

Case Dogleg Jack feels right for today...
It has probably felt right for someone most days for the past 42 years (if I'm reading the tang stamp correctly)! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Nice totes Gary !
Thanks, Steve. :)

A couple of Keen Kutters today

Lotta steel left on the blades of that astounding KK cattle knife, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

I haven't posted a Sunday pic of my Quotidian Quartet for quite a few weeks:

Yup, it's an older one.
But given the condition of it, I think somebody was ignoring it for years. I'll treat it right. ;)

This mini copperlock doesn't get out much but I like it quite a bit. The bright red bone looks great and it's a well made and smoooth operating knife. Case should do swedges like this more as it really makes the blades look better.

Of course I also have my stag schrade walden stockman that is appropriate for every day of the week.
