Its really nice. I'm real fond of my 85 but I think the gunstock will make it a while.

It has the nicest action of any of my GEC's and the knife is way different in hand then the pics make it seem. Hard one to describe

So, the GEC Templars (with the "Barndoor Hinges") having caught my eye, and made even more desirable to me by their relatively cold reception here, I just had to jump on this KaBar when it popped up on the Exchange. I have heard them called Swashbuckler Knives. I kinda like that...

Thanks, I tried to figure out what the difference between the two was. The book I found online said "The reason for the change from 32 to 032 was never documented. However, during this time period Case redesigned the tooling for a number of pocket knife patterns in order to standardize common parts between patterns."
