It's a Shadow Trapper made by John Lloyd. The guys commenting recognize it because I've posted it a gazillion times.Hate to show my ignorance, but.....What am I looking at?
Man, I love Queens amber bone stag! Very nice knife.
Yes it is. I’m experimenting with X-ray film in the 8x10, because it’s much less expensive than regular film in that size. My 4x5 is a Wisner, which he made for Zone VI for a while. I will edit in the picture I took when the negative is dry.
Thank you JJ. So many nice little details on both, in addition to your fine image of them.
Thanks for the kind words! I am glad it’s being used and enjoyed. This one made by Nathan Sewell, it’s like a bullnose on steroids!! everything about it is just right, and it came scary sharp!

I started off early this morning with these two in Ebony in my pocket. I hope everyone will stay safe and well out there.

Thanks, Jack! I’ve had those boots for almost 10 years. They need to be reconditioned, but I’m waiting until winter’s officially over.I actually have a second, brand new pair of the same boots that I bought a couple years ago before they were discontinued. It’s hard to find a good pair of full leather hiking boots anymore.
Nice pair you’re carrying there. Not much you couldn’t do with those two in your pocket!![]()
...
I’ve still got this little Nifebrite #14 with me. I think today is the last day of Mike’s GAW challenge?

Happy Friday, folks.
These are hanging around today.

Jack Black - Thank you Jack. One could be quite content if your Stag Hartshead and orange F&F were the only choices. Have a fine weekend, Jack. Cheers.
5K Qs - Your Colonial Jack is mighty fine.

Sciatica is brought on by overdoing strenuous activities such as preparing “fine cuisine” as in your picture!I woke up intending to go down to my hunt club to getting prep started for turkey opener in a few weeks, but a sciatica flare-up scrapped those plans quickly. Had these two, Queen #31 for Mike's GAW and a Leonard Corlee hunter, ready for travel on Fixed Blade Friday:

So it's lighter duty today, like this rare culinary use of a folder by me:

And opening a box of new strings for an old Gibson LG-1 (1958) so I can learn how to play during convalescence:

Travis that’s a great looking 29 my friend! We were going to fly up to visit Harry and Nancy and attend the big Wisconsin knife show at Janesville in two weeks. After talking with Harry this morning he informed us the show has been canceled.
I understand the concerns presently and I hope and pray this all passes by the time the Rendezvous rolls around. It’s a yearly thing for Pam and I and something we really look forward to.
Stuart I hope you feel better real soon my friend!![]()
