This is a Jess Horn knife with smooth Big Horn Sheep scales. It is a pattern called the Middle Horn which was designed by Jess and Bob Loveless. They were sold through the Loveless shop as a compliment to Bob’s fixed blade knives. It is very similar to the Loveless Stiff Horn.

I always wanted a Jess Horn knife and finally bit the bullet. This knife is everything I thought it would be. It is perfectly made and smooth as silk. Just what I need to keep me company during my 14 day forced exile.

A beautiful knife from one of the best! Congrats, Leslie!

Thanks, Chuck. It has the strangest trailing point blade that I've ever seen and, boy, does it slice!

Thanks, José. I like your small Parker. As you may know, I have one of those, and it may be your knife's brother.

I can't get Miss Norma to move the feeders ("they are easier to fill this way"), but I sure should remember to look at the rail before setting a knife (or hand) on the surface.

Made me smile, Ron, and I needed it. I was the only person in Whitlow's yesterday when they shuttered for an indeterminable period of time. Just me at the bar with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a glass of ice cubes. All the staff had been let go (and many of them, not holding US citizenship, will not get stimulus checks). The manager and the owner and I discussing other smaller restaurants that may never reopen.

Well, today is bright and sunny, so I'm taking Loki for a walk and totin' these two:

That Lockwood is sweet !

These two for Thursday; a jumbo jack with it's little brother. :)

Elegant. AND utilitarian.

Well, you have at least one excellent shooting lane, a true sendero. Nice OT, too.

Lovely 66, Steve.

That's a handsome fella, Dean.

I forgot to post what I've been carrying today! :D

Terrific trio, Jack.

Woe, just wow!!

That Lockwood is sweet !

Thanks, Steve.

My, oh, my! Great composition, as well as a fab knife/watch pairing. Well done, Harvey.
