What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yes, Szekler's tradition goes back to the Middle Age. They used a lot of wood rather than stones.

Thanks for the information. That's very interesting. They must have used a very dense wood to survive the elements.

Governor gave the stay at home orders today. Starting tomorrow. We can get groceries etc. Everything except necessary services. I fall in that category. Have these tonight but I think I’m gonna switch to a bigger fixed just in case. Not for SD, the glock is for that, but uncertain times require a little more insurance.

I've not posted many comments, as my current back pain issues confound sitting at my PC, BUT I will get better. Do not pine for my pain, it is personal (unfortunately, as I'd love to share - I'm a sharing guy). I got several chores completed today - fixed shower head in master bath, stocked firewood for two wood fireplaces (our two gas fireplaces are my salvation), and charged the battery in the 1992 Trans Am (for when the weather warms). Now, I'm sitting on a heating pad with a cool libation sorting coherence in the chaos of our hiatus. As you can see -

Hope everyone is safe and well, and that all the mothers have a special day regardless of the current circumstances. Carrying my Hartshead Barlow again, and an Ulster Scout gifted to me by the ever-generous Mr @paulhilborn :)

Both of your outstanding Sheffield totes today really exhibit a massive "cool factor;" marvelous detailing by their respective cutlers!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Here in Scandiland, I suspect the lockdown will be implemented shortly- our govt. of women (Parliament of Foules as Chaucer might say;)) seem to have become addicted to their daily news briefings and have to have something to say:) Lockdowns haven't happened in S.Korea or Japan and they seem to be preserving their economies and containing disease but....

Time to get out something different from the stash: these are not only superbly finished, the Ram's Horn works well in a modern context, but they are lightweight in the pocket. Lionsteel from Italy, and solidarity to them in a time of crisis:thumbsup:
