Lots of nice knives here. I love the Sowbelly patterns and am going to have to look for one. Today it is a Case Seahorse whittler pattern. It sharped several pencils today and just slid through them with ease, using the small almost square end blade.
Well lets see..A Queen medium stockman in D2,right front pocket.A Vic tinker, left front pocket. Also last but not least,an Emerson mini CQC7 spear that I reground on both sides to a zero tolerance edge.It sits in my watch pocket in case I have to go to the dance...
Today I was carrying this 1977 Case 61051 LSSP which I purchased new and have carried many a mile. I tuned it up on my new paper wheel sharpening system this morning, and it is smilin'sharp.
Today I carried just my SAK Explorer Plus(I added plus scales). Used the pen for notes and underlining at church. Then used the phillips screw driver to install stops on my new electric mobility scooter lift.
Later on I grabbed my Canoe Amber Bone. Could not stand seeing it laying on the end table next to my recliner. It is now in my watch pocket.
Today I'm carrying this very fine Bowie Corporation Large Stockman Whittler (#08/100) in rich jigged red bone and ATS34 steel. This was a surprise gift from my buddy, and nefarious partner in roadkill jerky enterprises , Mike Robuck. It's a sweet pocketknife with excellent fit and finish, and it takes a wicked edge.
Thanks again brother Mike-in-a-box!
The main blade tang is stamped "BOWIE CORPORATION - OKEMOS MICH. - U.S.A."
Notice the detail in the nicking and the swedgegrinds.
