What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This one is not for the re-cycling bin :D but the patina is ageing it ;)

Gorgeous tortoise shell, Jack. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you Dean, I have knives with both acrylic and genuine, and I think the faux stuff looks just as good - and it's kinder on the turtles too of course! ;)

For Black Friday, I'm totin' these two.

Delightful dark duo Dean

Thanks, Jack,
That knife was my first GEC, got it in '15. It pretty much started my fascination with Traditionals

Great start :)

Carrying these today for "Old Friends Friday", "Black Friday" and "Ebony and Ivory".
Be safe please!

Looking good Taylor :)

Well we’re shelter in place now! :( Pam’s employer is an essential business so she’s still working her alternating schedule of home and the office. I’ve been busy working in the yard most of the day. I’ve got my shower and helped with cooking supper. Now I’ve finally kicked back and took some time to check out what I’ve missed here so far today! I had “Biscuit” in my pocket while I was working in the yard. And now I’ve added my 2018 Guardians Ebony SFO to take me through the evening. I hope everyone will be careful and stay safe out there! :)

Shelter at home doesn’t mean we can’t still eat well! :D

Great pics Ron :) Hope we can all roam free again soon ;)

Surrounded myself with a bit of Ironwood today. Happy Friday, folks!

Very nice Vince :)

Thanks Jack!!! You have certainly been staying well prepared with your excellent daily totes; that may be a "pocket bowie" but I'm sure it's good for some pretty serious cutting!

Thanks a lot JJ, I do think the Pocket Bowie cuts above its weight ;)

For today I'm going for a pretty beefy stockman with a lot of blades. :)

Both unusual and special my friend :)

Today this rough and working celaya Pastor Carbono. 11 cm blade, so over 4 inches!
Love this one, wide blade on thin stock! slices like nobodys business!

enjoy the weekend, we're in for the first days of nice summer weather!

Looks like a great, honest working knife

Looking good Ted

Thanks, I’ve been takin’ a hard look at my collection and I think it’s time to re-evaluate what I want from it. It’s a little late but I think it’s time to focus on a theme. It’s just so much more fun to buy what I want rather than justify the purchase.

What I have noticed is a lean towards less complicated knives. Small fixed blades are starting to interest me. :)

Greenery is really starting to pop here. Sorry for the lousy pictures - I didn’t have my glasses with me...
I feel your pain. My cell phone is just not going to focus on both the knive (s),and the background.
But they are lovely photos! An inviting trail in the woods in the spring...

Have these in my pockets today .
Dixon

Loewen Messer

Both are pretty decent older knives that make some pretty decent work knives , especially at the prices that I paid for them .

Harry
If we ever return to normal, and I get a chance to coon finger that Dixon, I’m practicing my sleight of hand moves. I have a couple of candidates I could slip back in your hand...

Photos that belong in one of those big coffee table books!
That’s the best looking BF Buck I’ve seen!
