Really liking the closely matching covers on your 3 slicers today; I can attest to the wonderful grind/edge on your Maserin and I've got the scars to prove it!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Many Thanks JJ. Gorgeous BULLDOG Brand Stockman. So nice Stag covers. The clip, with all that’s going on is quite fancy. Love the lighting/shadows on the blades. As always, top drawer image.
Thank you so very much, Harvey!!!

Simply gorgeous covers on both of your super tasty Sheffields; they look like they have quite close genealogy, as well!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

It's Ironwood Burl, Jack. The blade steel is A2 on this one. I haven't used it with the ferro rod, and likely won't unless it's absolutely necessary. :D

Nice Gary, I think I know somewhere that does an Ironwood-handled ferro-rod ;)

My own rookie mistake.
Jack Black Jack Black runs the best thread in town.:thumbsup:

Thanks buddy :D

Just brought this back indoors for a clean-up after it finished a round of dandelion digging duty.

I have an inordinate fondness for this particular British MOD knife. I’ve owned it for over 30 years, and during that time it has proven itself to be one helluva tool. It’s not a “slicer” by any stretch of the imagination, but it will do just about anything else you ask of it.

Nice to see one of those, I'd imagine they are great for digging out dandelions. Don't let them go to waste! ;)

A couple of Imperial's first BSA scouts for today. :)

Thanks a lot JJ, yes, it's defeinitely a slicer! Amazing pair of Scouts

This thread sure is flying at the moment! Hope everyone is doing OK, particularly those of you 'on bang-up'! Toting these 3 today, my Hartshead Barlow, a John Primble English Jack kindly gifted to me by @Duckdog, and a CS Roach Belly - I really like this pattern, and would like it even more with better scales, 1095, and a flat grind ;) Have a good Sunday folks

Sunday Voosday!
Like a rainbow after a flood, Crocus tells me better weather is ahead. And trust me, better days are ahead.

One of these days I'll bite on one of those. I think the hay fever site has something similar in wood and carbon.
And trust me, better days are ahead.
If we can just be here to see them!:D
And a little home made belt knife.
Whadja make it out of?

It pays to read your backgrounds, Jack.
The first couple of paragraphs were wroth the effort. :D

I could see that being a very useful knife around camp.:thumbsup:

That is a lovely picture with an "Old Time" feel.:thumbsup:

Funny how one Lambfoot pattern will grab you and never let go. ;)

That’s been one of my favorites for years, mostly on weekends and always when hunting.
I agree, the AGR Woods Walker is super handy for such a little knife.
I've had it on fishing trips, it's helped in the kitchen, but I think it has found a permanent home in my shop.
