What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

In the house, baking.

Beautiful bread sir! Your Lambsfoot may not have enough blade for that loaf! :D

Two beautiful knives and well photographed! I love the stag on your 86, very nice indeed! The AB fixed blade is a beautifully made knife. My friend Harry has told me some good things about them. I'm trying to resist the temptation but photos like this make it hard to do! :D

Have this in my pocket today and in a slip because I do not like greenish colored Stag . One of my 73 Northfields .

Harry
Beautiful #73 Harry! But then you already know that! :D

Stag and Stacked Leather Saturday! I must say I am really enjoying this new (to me) Serrano that I just got in.

That's a terrific pairing Dylan. Your #62 has some stellar stag my friend! :D

Yes, I second that emotion Harry
Superior knives.

Congratulations on the Serrano, @Pàdruig
Did you get it on the exchange? If I recall correctly there's only 8 of them.
You guys are killing me with all these beautiful AB fixed blades today! :D

One of these days I'll bite on one of those. I think the hay fever site has something similar in wood and carbon.

Thanks Jer, the CS versions are dirt cheap and weigh nothing, I've had a number of them over the years, and gifted the others to friends

It pays to read your backgrounds, Jack.
The first couple of paragraphs were wroth the effort. :D

LOL! Thanks John :D

Happy Sunday to All... Hope it's Amazing. ;)

Cool pic, and a great web-slinging mug my friend

I'm sheltered in place with these two this morning. I've got my Case Bose Damascus Coffin Jack that I bought at the Case store in Bradford a few years back and I've also got my Waynorth Cutlery Jigged Bone Lambsfoot. All in all not a bad pair to spend the day with! ;) Y'all be vigilant out there! :)

Top-notch pair Ron :)

If we can just be here to see them!:D

Whadja make it out of?

An old Nicholson file. I scored a bunch at the flea market @3/$1.00.
Ground it real slow with lots of water to keep it cool on a 1x72” belt sander.
Annealed in the oven in a bread pan filled with sand, so it would not be brittle. Elk antler rescued from the dog chew aisle. Fun project. :D

Love that pic Dan  :)

...and a different name. ;) (I have issues)

Going with these:

Plus an oldie:

Well I'd always assumed that the traditional name came from the flowing contours of the Common Roach, but now that you mention it, I think I might have seen LT in a Cheech & Chong film once ;) :D

Nice choices my friend :)

Nice Gary, I think I know somewhere that does an Ironwood-handled ferro-rod ;)

Thanks buddy :D

Nice to see one of those, I'd imagine they are great for digging out dandelions. Don't let them go to waste! ;)

Thanks Harvey, great pics of your Sheffield Lamb and Sleeveboard

Fantastic photo

Thanks a lot JJ, yes, it's defeinitely a slicer! Amazing pair of Scouts

This thread sure is flying at the moment! Hope everyone is doing OK, particularly those of you 'on bang-up'! Toting these 3 today, my Hartshead Barlow, a John Primble English Jack kindly gifted to me by @Duckdog, and a CS Roach Belly - I really like this pattern, and would like it even more with better scales, 1095, and a flat grind ;) Have a good Sunday folks
