Thank you kindly, JJ. Excellent arrangement of your Scout and the Boker Barlow, with it’s beautiful green, jigged Bone.Fine image.

So my middle age crisis that led to a brief ( in the scheme of things) but sordid affair with the modern folder has come to an end. May I come home?View attachment 1322966
Welcome home. Been there too.
Was supposed to go back to work today but I got called and told to stay home for two more weeks if I wanted [65 and older] with pay. O.K.!:)
So, out with the dog carrying this so far today.

Interesting blade on the Buck. It’s an exact copy, except the thumb hole is not round, of one of the first Spyderco knives- designed by Bob Terzuola. I have one, and if I ever were to carry a modern folder, that would be choice #1.
But I went back to my roots.:D

Thanks Dylan! Love the brass my friend! Another great photo! :)

Thank you, Ron! You are carrying a fine duo today, that Queen English Jack is most excellent!

Pàdruig Pàdruig Thank you Dylan. Your beautiful 44 with the NF flourishes, is yet another reason to finally get one.

Thank you, Harvey! That Ocoee is another NW that has caught my eye on many occasions, you've captured its color beautifully. That Robeson Black Jack is pretty special too.

No real need to tote a pocketknife with this shelter-in-place order in effect. Good opportunity to use some of my other knives though.

I like the looks of that knife, Christian, can you tell me more about it?

These are among the few I've kept close by today.

Dylan, it's a Bark River Rogue. Available in an assortment of handle materials, my knife has black canvas micarta. My only micarta handled knife. I grabbed it because it seemed like the best one to use. My kitchen knives are all either too fine edged and delicate to deal with breaking down a pineapple, or not sharp enough. This Rogue has good geometry for the task at hand. It's as sharp as anything I have, but it's built more robustly than a chef's knife. The only issue is the handle. It can get slippery when wet, and the handle contours and lack of a guard demand that I exercise the utmost care during use.
