What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Lovely lamb, Harvey. Is that cap from a Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale? Chocolate Stout?
Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout. I’m not much of a drinker, but I must confess that I’ve become quite fond of this one, Vince. Great Sunday go to church image.

@5K Qs - Much appreciation for your kind remarks, GT. I don’t care what you say. Your Senator is easily the equal of mine. Cheers!

Thanks! And I love the chocolate stout too. I didn't think I would, and bought the first one for my wife, while I bought an Imperial Stout for myself. But she took one sip and gave it to me. Delicious!

So many nice Barlows shown lately, I’m going to join the Barlow Bunch today and carry my Ulster. OH

Your Ulster is a beauty Bruce; the covers look amazing!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup:
hank you JJ. Another smashing pairing image. Love the shield on the Imperial scout. The Case looks so elegant. Great lighting.
Thank you most kindly, Harvey!!!

I'll bet that's the only space shuttle lamb made (at least that I've laid eyes upon!!!) Wonderful covers on your J. Potter, too; very unique pairing today!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks, JJ. :) That "traditional" arithmetic book was a gift from a student in one of my classes for prospective teachers several years ago.
It really has that great mid century feel, awesome!:):thumbsup:
Superb pair, JJ; I really admire that C. Johnson Barlow!:cool::thumbsup:
Thank you Gary, it was really a fortunate find!!!
Yes, I agree that this is an odd totin' pair, but they are two that I don't tote much at all, so I wanted to air them out today (clear and cool here). They carried well on Loki's walks and when our new granddaughter made a surprise appearance the Russlock cut cords off packaging on a new swing seat Miss Norma bought (a bit too early for baby use, yet). They do share similar blade profiles, sorta.

Congratulations on your new family member!!! Those are certainly a handsome pair of Cases (and the blade profiles do match up nicely!!!);):thumbsup:
Potent pair, JJ, especially the Barlow.
Thanks a whole bunch Stuart!!!

Thanks Jack! I love the PPMG+ it is my favorite and the one I am most accurate with. Yea the post is screwy right now. I have two slingshots that are on vacation ( stuck) in the New York distribution hub for the last week. :(. That’s a beautiful 66, a real stunner.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it Jon :) I ordered a PPO, but who knows when I'll get it  I hope you get your slingshots soon, thanks for the kind words

I like that one, Jack. Clean and simple.

Great to see the navaja getting some attention, Jack

Thanks a lot buddy :)

Ace pic Dan

I've been totin' these two today: a Case 99 1/2 swell end jack (1974) and a Case 85 physician's knife (1974).

Thank you very much Harvey, great-looking pair my friend

Like that small fixed blade. I have a Bradford Guardian 3.5 on the way I'm really excited about. And will have a custom slip soon for my 43.

I have been thinking of getting a Guardian myself, would have ordered one by now if our mail service wasn't so messed up

What another marvelous trio Jack; all uniquely mesmerizing with your fixed having quite a ancient Scandinavian feel!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thank you very kindly Jack (times 2)!!!

Today another Barlow and Scout pairing; a Case and an Imperial from just after WWII. :)

Sincere thanks JJ, what a lovely pair, and in such peerless condition  :)

I’m only carrying one today. I’ve got this new to me Lambsfoot Big’un. :) It’s a Venture - H. M. Slater, Sheffield. Buffalo Horn, brass bolsters, steel liners and carbon steel blade. I think I’m going to like it a lot! :)

Very cool Spaceman's Lambsfoot Harvey, and a fine Sheffield Sleeveboard too

:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Jack. I like the Rough Rider sowbellies, and I like RR smooth tobacco bone, so that knife was an obvious selection for me! ;)
When it comes to "6 degrees of separation" for me, Jack, you're a major link!:cool:;) Suddenly, I have a connection to Le Carre!
I hope your recent addition of fixed blades to your carry hasn't thrown you out of alignment and resulted in your back pain! :( You had an attractive trio picked out!:cool::thumbsup:
I often look at that little "picnic knife" when I look at MAM's offerings online. :)

LOL! :D It's a small island I live on GT, everyone knows someone who knows someone ;) I hope not my friend, though I do own fixed-blades that might throw my back out! The picnic knife is really useful :)

Starting the week with a couple of pre WWII handy jacks. :)

Superb start to the week JJ :)

Morning folks, apologies for missing a day yesterday, struggling to sit at my desk due to back pain at the moment o_O I hope everyone had a decent weekend, and that everyone has a safe and happy week. Finding it hard to remember what day it is here

Mighty high fallutin', Ron, Please remember us little people now and then.
Thanks Stuart! :) I’m still just an old country boy. I know you’re familiar with the “Blind Hog” saying! ;) I just happened to get lucky when I lucked up on this jewel! Enjoy that new granddaughter my friend! :)

Congratulations Ron :)
